We found a single bed bug in the first room assigned to us. We went down to inform the receptionist and asked for a new room. The receptionist wasn’t very apologetic, in fact no apologies made at all. No attempt at service recovery. The new room had no bed bugs thankfully, and generally feels a bit cleaner. The property generally is very dated and old and probably need an urgent make over. But size wise it’s amazing for HK standard. The daily turnover service is also not bad, no complaints about that. For everything offered, I think the hotel is quite pricy. Would not stay here again unless necessary because of location.

If you go there from the airport, take the bus, not the MTR. The bus stops across the street! The breakfast buffet was awful and the internet was spotty at times , but good value and location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and out was quick and efficient.

Too old, too dirty. Dryer is not working. Shower base is leaking. The ceiling light is flashing. Told to house keeping, she said have to report to electrical department and everything remains the same until we’re leaving.

My room smelled bad. It smelled like a blend of chlorine and mold. Most part of the room was clean except the shower. The shower was very small like a box. The caulking of the shower door was moldy. The water temperature was not hot at all. The temperature was below moderately warm. If you stay there in the winter, you would be cold in the shower. I didn’t know if the thermostat in the room was working or not. The worst part was the internet. Wifi connection was sporadic. I was working in the my room for a few hours. The connection died a few times while having a zoom meeting. I almost got myself in trouble. If you need to work remotely, I would not recommend this hotel at all. The location of the hotel is a couple of blocks from bus stations, and a bit far from the Sai Ying Pun MTR station. On the good side, hotel staff was polite. They have staff that opened doors or pressed the elevator for you. The room was very roomy except the shower stall.

Hotel needs work
The hotel is dated. We initially assigned to room 2006 and the smell of the room was very musty. We told the staff and they asked us to turn AC to the coldest temperature so to reduce the smell. We stayed at room 2006 for one night, i got itchy throat and my 3 year old toddler got itchy eyes.we complain to the front desk, they switched us to room 2706. The drainer in the shower was not working properly. The shower water got spilled out to the floor. We told the cleaning lady, but the hotel didn't do anything. I have stayed at this hotel several times, but each time the condition got worse. The hotel needs some work. The hotel location is good and convenient.

I couldnt sleep with the pillows provided and asked for a thinner one. However, i was told that was the only kind youve got in the hotel. Ended up I had to use some towels as my pillow for the night and that gave me neck pain the next day. Also, No 1 room was way too small and my husband scratched his leg and I bumped onto the bedside also. It was hard to walk pass the bed to make way to the washroom. Even for my size.
