A lot of attractions and good restaurants in walking distance. Transport is a bit of a walk in rain, but is close if weather is good. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The only downside is that the room was looking quite dated. The bathroom is modern enough, but the sink wouldn't drain fast enough, so we always had a full sink of soapy or toothpaste water after use. Our family of 3 got the room with 3 single beds, and the size is quite tight. Lucky we had a 7 year old and not a teenager or third adult. But this is middle of Hong Kong so I guess it is a what it is. Overall I would stay again as everything was good when we got used to the place. But I might find somewhere bigger when my kids are older.

there is perpetual construction going on around butterfly and it's really hard to walk to and from the hotel. so while it's location is unbeatable, the road to the hotel is just so hard with the construction going on. but the thing that puts us off the most about the hotel is the strong sewage stench that emits from the toilet. i contemplated getting some air freshener even though my stay was just three nights.

Great location, good sized room. I'm not sure if it was because of the recent weather, but the whole hotel was very humid, lots of dehumidifiers everywhere. I could use my CPAP machine without a humidity chamber. Universal electric outlets. I would stay again on a future trip.

Butterfly is in a perfect location in Central. It's not a fancy hotel: you're paying for location. It's close to the MTR and the Mid-level escalators. Everything's easy from here. The staff was very nice and helpful and the maid service was spot on every day. This is a very solid Hong Kong choice.

A gem of a hotel, located near to some tourist attractions, plenty of shops and dining options and the public transport network. Usama and all the staff were outstanding hosts - and keen to help in any way they could.

For its location, the price was decent. Excellent food options around the area even if locals may complain about price. The fridge and kettle worked, and the air conditioning was good. The ambient humidity during my stay was unbearable so the in-room dehumidifier was a nice plus although the water tank was not perfectly clean and can fill up quite quickly with use. The hand held shower head was not fit for use but the rain shower was excellent.
