Overall had a positive experience staying here for a week. My room was clean, there was a slight musty smell when I first walked in which people have mentioned but I didnt mind as I got used to it and didnt notice it for the rest of my stay. There were a couple of issues [3x] with staff telling me one thing and then not following through, but these issues were resolved when I spoke with someone else about them. Although this should not have happened on three different occasions. The pool will be crowded, they have a whole other pool that is always empty that I feel is a waste of space. Its only meant for longboard club members. If I were them I would make one pool for adults only. Summary: Positives: ☆ Close walking distance ☆ Clean ☆ Great views from room ☆ Friendly room service Negatives: ☆ Pool small, other pool not in use ☆ Staff not all on same page ☆ Expensive parking [did not utilize]

Looove it here!! First time in Hawaii I was able to experience this hotel. The second time, I booked somewhere else and it was not the same. So I had to cut my stay short and book Alohilani again. Staff are always accomodating and friendly, and I always feel safe and comfortable staying there.

This time was one of the worst visits I’ve had. Staff was very rude. Waited in line for awhile to check in then staff allowed others to cut in front of us. I paid for an ocean view, and the room they put is in wasn’t an ocean view, it was more of side view mainly of the street! I called the hotel many times to make a complaint couldn’t get through. The fish tank area was blocked off the whole trip. The hotel seemed very unkept, just not taken care of. I will not be staying here again. I am very disappointed

This is a beautiful, clean property located across the street from Waikiki, all hotels are across the street as the street is adjacent to the beach. Shopping and dining is great.

The two restaurants Morimoto and Momosan were amazing but room service options were horrible. Swell bar resto food wasn't great either. The lobby at this hotel is very nice so you'd expect the rooms to be in the same calibre however, they are small and not updated. Old showers with shower curtain instead of glass door. Carpet in the room looks old... why not use flowing instead of carpet ?? Old dresser was all chipped. It was nice to have a balcony. Supposedly I was eligible for "VIP amenities" although im not sure what those should have been since I was not offered late check out , was not even offered a water bottle when I checked in as I receive when I stay at the basic Hilton. The location is great since it's right across the beach and walking distance to everything. The ABC store is directly accessible from the hotel which is super convenient

Beautiful hotel, amenities and pool side was amazing. Wife and I enjoyed our stay. Beach was a few steps away. Friendly staff. Flushing the toilet was a bit louder then would like. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

We included breakfast for 7 days, they serve the same things every day. If I would known I would of skip it, everything is pretty expensive. So we had no choice but to eat the boring breakfast everyday.
