Spent two nights here before heading to north shore. It’s very convenient but our room faced the busy road so a little noisy. The room was a bit dated and the carpet needed replacing but overall it was good for the money

You get what you pay for. The best part of this hotel is the front desk staff who were kind and helpful. The location is not bad, located at the opposite end of Diamond Head, about a 15 minute walk from Waikiki Beach. The beach nearest the hotel is about 10 munutes away but it is very rocky. The pool is not inviting. The room was not updated but we did not expect much for the price. However, we did expect a clean bed. We found a mattress cover with several stains, under a stained comforter, under a stained flat sheet that was under another flat sheet covered by a brown blanket. Disgusting! Also, who puts a comforter under bedsheets? Because the cleaning staff leaves at 8 pm we requested clean sheets and changed the bedding ourselves. There was also one night where we did not have electricity in our room for hours. I thought hotels had emergency generators for this type of thing but I guess not. There was no acknowledgement of the situation, no apology, no nothing.

The property is older and squeaks when u get in the elevator , it’s also in an old part of Waikiki with lots of street noise that u can hear from your room BUT the staff is amazing and all very kind people so this place is affordable for a couple day stay!

Everything was very nice, especially the location. The only two complaints from our stay is that we were not initially told that the hotel had beach chairs and boogey boards which were available for our use, and we ran into some problems with the parking lot. The "pass" that we were issued for the lot did not work properly and we were not able to get the car out the morning that we needed to leave for the airport. Fortunately I was able to find a work-around, but it was certainly a bit frustrating. On the other hand, valet parking is even more expensive, so this was not too bad of a problem. It is a lovely hotel and we enjoyed our stay very much?
