Overall this was a nice hotel! I especially enjoyed the cultural programming. Breakfast typically requires advance reservation, and like most hotels, food/drink prices are inflated. A general reminder to any visitor, parking is not free in most of Waikiki and thatincludes this hotel. Overall, as far as touristy hotels go, this one was decent.

Property location is amazing! The resort fee is steep, but you can get beach chairs, umbrella, sunscreen and towels for that amount every day of your stay. Coffee Kureig is restocked daily, or more if needed due to jet lag :). A fridge is in the room and slippers are available upon request. Note, these rooms have not been renoed lately and have many scars to prove that. I had to wipe hairs, coffee stains and layers of wall, table and door handprint/ dirt off all surfaces before feeling semi-clean. The bed linens and towels seemed nice and clean though. So, bring a pack of Lysol/wet ones - blowtorch all the grime and germs you can and then enjoy. I also would bring a Damp Rid or similar to hang in the closet to help with the humidity. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful when requesting extra towels, more coffee etc. they have a good IMing/Texting system. We didn’t get a rental car and feel okay about that decision. We walked up and down lost of Waikīkī everyday for food, drinks, beach time and shopping and booked tours or Ubered for the hikes we wanted to. If you do want to rent from the airport, note the valet parking price is steep so beware.
