One block from the beach. Walkable to many areas of dining & shopping. Very safe location. Rooms are okay. Outdated but clean. You have everything that you need. Beds are comfortable The buffet breakfast (continental) is a disappointment for me. The same breakfast menu everyday in a crowded and no window room. With the hotel rate, they can easily add hot items to the breakfast.

Wonderful stag but poor facilities.
The staff was very friendly and did an excellent job. The issue was with the facilities. The rooms were mediocre - the sheets had holes in them, hot water only got warm in the shower, very basic rooms. Continental breakfast was poor. Noise level in rooms was quite high as all sounds from the street and hotel came through the walls. Despite all this, the staff was friendly and did what they could to make this older hotel stay a pleasant experience.

Property is close to everything you need, very convenient and safe. Our room is outdated but clean. My only compliant is they did not give us a receipt or even sent an email when we paid for our room upgrade. Over all, we are happy with our stay at Waikiki resort hotel.

The resort is in need of a renovation. The lobby area is nice. The filtered water bottle filler was a good amenity. The assistant bell captain, Leo, was terrific. He was friendly and helpful. The housekeeping manager was also great. The front desk staff was awful. They were uncaring, did not make eye contact, were not welcoming. It was like they were reading a script. No personalized service. We felt like they were being inconvenienced having to help us. They do not provide a good first, or last, impression of your property.

Aloha! This is a cute hotel with a perfect location in the heart of Waikīkī. I had a beautiful view of both the ocean & Diamond Head from my room! I chose this hotel over the more modern & more expensive ones because it had everything I needed: clean spacious rooms, a pool, complimentary breakfast with fresh fruit, beach towels to borrow, and more, all for a fair price. My favorite part of my stay was the complimentary classes offered, specifically the Sunrise Yoga & Sunset Meditation classes. Led by the lovely Julia of Zen Fitness, who was patient, kind, and she completely tailored the class to make it accessible for all participants. These classes were held on the beach and quite honestly it felt surreal to have a view of Diamond Head while in downward dog! Starting my day under a rainbow on Waikīkī beach while practicing yoga and ending my day taking in a picture perfect sunset while meditating couldn’t have been more beautiful, grounding & zen. There were other classes the hotel offered that I was interested in, though I wasn’t able to attend due to other activities I had scheduled. Mahalo Waikīkī Resort!
