Wonderful property
We had a great time here for a long weekend getaway! The property was beautiful, we enjoyed sitting in the back yard having coffee in the mornings and fishing in the pond in the evenings. Property was very clean and meticulously maintained! We also enjoyed reading all about the history of the farm. My only suggestion would be that the Vacasa binder in the home be updated. We were a bit confused about some of the check out procedures as there were conflicting instructions in the binder vs. the message you get after you’ve already checked out. Regardless it was a 5 star stay and we would definitely consider returning in the future!

The best!
We absolutely loved this house. Wish we could stay longer! It was one of the most well stocked houses I have ever rented. Very homey- loved the hiking with the dog and the quiet. The only improvement I could suggest is a king sized bed, but having said that the bed was very comfortable- we didn’t use the other beds as it was only my husband and I. We would definitely stay here again and for longer next time!

Amazing family getaway!
My husband and I stayed with our two young sons (1 and 3) and it was PERFECT! We enjoyed hiking in Pisgah and other local activities. We also loved the local breweries (Appalachian mountain brewing, Sierra Nevada, and Mills River were a few favorites). The house was better than I even hoped. The property is gorgeous and the fishing pond added an extra activity that we loved! The large yard and fire pit were also used every day. We absolutely loved our stay here!

What a property!
This house was nestled back on the 80 acres but you couldn’t even tell where the property line was - it was all just rolling hills and tree lines. We had a great time and it felt very private.

Beautiful country home!
This home is beautifully located at the foot of the mountains. The surrounding views are amazing! Located close enough to enjoy Biltmore and Asheville, but tucked away where we could also enjoy the quietness of the country. Grocery store & Starbucks are minutes away. Had all we need for a great stay!

We were 5 people: me and my husband, our son and two grandkids. We enjoyed our stay in Dreamy Farmhouse. Very convenient floor plan with 5 beds in three rooms. Very well stocked, nicely decorated, comfortable beds, private backyard, lots of games, close to Asheville and close to Sliding Rock in Pisgah National Forest. Jump off rock is a nice and close place to meet sunset. We were 5 people: me and my husband, our son and two grandkids.

Gorgeous property!
I stayed with my husband, son, mother, and dog. There was plenty of room and the property was stunning. The home had everything you need. We especially enjoyed the fire pit and playing games on the screened in patio. One word of caution the driveway is gravel and there were some pretty big humps to navigate with our low to the ground Tesla but we managed. Would definitely stay again!

Simply a great property.
The house was perfect for our stay. It had everything anyone would need, just like your own home. Even though there are other homes on the property there is so much land it still feels secluded. We did have a problem with the heat and the staff had it taken care of in record time. We would definitely rent it again.

Great trip.
Stayed for a family trip to Biltmore. Very quiet location which was really nice. Grocery store just a mile or so down the main road. Cabin had a lot of rustic appeal and fit the bill for our needs. Would stay here again. Attention to detail was nice. Good TP and 1st aid kit which sound like small details, but nice to see the owners choices. Very close proximity to National forest with some great roads to explore. Only suggestion I would make to the owner is to add something visual to the step going down into the 2nd bathroom to differentiate the step from the floor.

A wonderful property if you want privacy and quiet
We rented this home, a former dairy shed/barn converted into a cozy home on 80 acres, for five days. The check in process was easy, the house had everything we needed in it to prepare meals, the property was amazing. Our two Goldens loved wandering the vast property. I wish we had more time to explore. There is a small home about 50 feet away but the tenant, a relative of owner, kept to themselves. Another larger home was a couple of hundred feet away but they too kept to themselves. The only cons that I noticed was it probably isn’t suitable for those who cannot navigate stairs as there are two different levels with two or three steps in nearly every room, understandable since this was a barn at one point. Also, bring bottled water to drink, the water is not clear but if know beforehand it’s manageable. They supply a Britta pitcher. It’s About 2 miles to ingles, close to Hendersonville, Asheville and Brevard all within 30 min. Don’t pass up this property if you want quiet, lots of land to play, a charming house and nature, plus the nightly rate was very reasonable in my opinion. I will recommend this to visitors and families, for sure.

Quaint Country Stay
From seeing wild turkeys and hummingbirds through the back windows in the morning to having a comfortable outdoor fire pit to relax around in the evening after a day of sightseeing we throughly enjoyed staying at this lovely home. We loved the whimsical country decorations in the home and appreciated all the extras like a snack basket and fun games to play. There was even had a tree swing! It was a natural setting at its best and yet not too far from places to visit like the Biltmore and downtown Asheville. We would recommend it highly.

Fantastic Location and Cute House
Beautiful property and home. Was in a great location for day trips, a lot of sites and hiking trails with hour drive. We really enjoyed kicking back each afternoon in the backyard or around the fire pit. Was slightly disappointed with the lack of privacy. House in front is the home of owners daughter and the house in back is the owners home. However with that said they did not intrude on our time there. The other challenge was two of the three bedrooms had twin beds. Although mattress was comfortable feel a second room with a double or queen bed would be better suited for most travelers.

GREAT Place to Stay and Play
This property is immaculate. It's quiet, peaceful and comfortable. The house was spotless and looks exactly like the photos. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds with our dog and would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. It's remote enough to be quiet yet very close to many amenties. Our only complaint, as other reviewers have mentioned, is that the fact that the property owner's house is close to the house and their daughter's house is VERY close is withheld until after booking. It wasn't a problem because they were very respectful and did not interact with us. However, if you are expecting total privacy on 80 acres all to yourself, you will be sadly disappointed.
