Pet Friendly Cozy Downtown Getaway!

“Spring” and “Mountain” Bungalows are side-by-side in a newly-renovated 1950s duplex structure, and directly next door to the large circa-1900 main house with two more short-term bungalow rentals. Spring is one of four total unique bungalows on the Cedar Street Bungalows property. It is just a few feet from the adjacent off-street shared parking so it is a very private and extremely convenient. Both the Mountain and Spring Bungalow front doors are facing the side, towards the main house across the shared driveway instead of facing the street. Privacy with a view of the tall cliff and trees for shade in the back make Spring a very quiet spot where relaxation blends with quiet.
Across the drive is a patio with a gas grill, picnic table, nestled between the Mountain Bike Barn and Laundry Room – shared amenities available to any guest on the property.

A small front porch includes two outdoor chairs. Just inside your front door is a comfortable living room with sofa, ottoman, and a large flat-screen television. Next is the full-size bathroom and closet area which leads to the bedroom. A small but fully-functional and stocked kitchen is in the back of the bungalow. Each space is divided by walls but there are no interior doors in the layout except for the bathroom door.

Kitchen: Well equipped with refrigerator, range, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and fully stocked with cookware, dishware, cups, glasses, and utensils. All linens and towels provided.

Sleeping: One queen bed.

General: High-speed Wi-Fi, flat-screen Roku TV with Sling TV in the living room, can stream own Netflix/Amazon, and exterior security cameras. The bungalow is heated/cooled by two brand new mini-split units with temperatures controlled by the guests. On-demand gas water heater so you never run out of hot water.

Parking: There is free off-street parking in the driveway very close to your door. This parking is shared with the four bungalows on site and provides plenty of room. There is also free parking on the street in front.

Special Amenities: Keys are provided for the Mountain Bike Barn for bike storage, and to the Laundry Room with two washing machines and two dryers. Please message us on the VRBO portal if either of these amenities will be accessed. There is also a gas grill and outdoor picnic table on site. Special amenities are free to guests. (Note: the Bike Barn was recently created by demand. It’s functional but still a work in progress as we fix it up!)

Special Service: We offer a “Surprise & Delight” Romance Package for a small fee for arriving guests. Please message us on the VRBO portal for details.

Nice Getaway
We had a great time at the property. It is in the perfect location and only takes about 5 minutes to walk to the downtown strip. The owners were super responsive. The bed was very comfy and the sheets were soft! My only callout would be if you like to cook keep it easy and minimal. The kitchen is pretty small and there aren't many amenities/dishes from a kitchen standpoint, but who cares....just eat your way through this fun town! We would definitely stay again!

Convenient Hot Springs Bungalow
We loved our stay in Hot Springs and this Bungalow. We were supposed to stay in Spring, but we ended up in the Mountain unit. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed. The managers were so quick to respond if we needed anything and gave us great suggestions for things to do downtown. The Rooftop bar at The Waters Hotel was a favorite. Parking downtown isn’t always easy so it was an added bonus that we could actually walk downtown from the Bungalow. Availability of a washer and dryer was another bonus. I highly recommend a stay at the Spring or Mountain Bungalows!!

Girls Hiking Weekend
My friend from TX came for a weekend visit that also was her first time in AR. My local hiking friends and I took her on two trails at Lake Catherine St Park before heading to lunch at the Ohio Club and on to an afternoon hike in Northwoods. Great Little House and Location
My wife and I really enjoyed staying at this property. It was close to hiking, mountain biking, and the hot springs area. We spent most of our time walking to where we were going and barely used our car. The house was great and had everything we needed for a three night stay.

Convenient to Downtown
The place was very nice. Well equipped for the kitchen with several snacks too. Parking the first night was a little awkward due to the other guests haphazard parking. The internet only worked the first of our three nights and I was told it is sketchy for all of Hot Springs. But my cell service was ok. We didn’t spend much time in the room as there were more interesting places to see in the area. Good place to sleep. The bed was very soft if that’s your thing.

Absolutely wonderful!
This was the CLEANEST property I have ever stepped foot in. Seriously, not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere! The little details of thoughtfulness was an added bonus, from snacks and water to a handwritten note from the housekeeper. The walls were a bit “thinner” than I would have like, we could hear the neighbors talking during our stay but they checked out the day after we checked in, so it wasn’t a problem. The hot water tank doesn’t last long, my husband did take a cold shower once and I had a moderately cool shower another time. The bed does squeak when you move but the mattress and sheets were so comfy! I slept great. This listing is a quick walk to downtown and we walked to Colonial Pancakes for breakfast our first morning (which I’d HIGHLY recommend). The sweet little bungalow was in a quiet area of town too which we loved. Over all, I’m giving this listing 5 stars, even with the mild inconveniences, we had an absolute wonderful stay, if we ever visit Hot Springs again we would without a doubt book this listing again.

This property was exactly as described and more. Everything was very clean and decorated in a relaxing way. The bed was super comfortable. The location was perfect--just a short 2 minute walk from downtown. Directions and labels (A/C, shower soaps) were clear so there was no guessing. We appreciated that couple of snacks that were left for us. We would definitely stay here again.

I loved the Spring Bungalow. Everything is as beautiful, just as the pictures show. This is the most thoughtful rental I have ever booked. I loved the Ah! notes on the walls explaining and answering the questions that I didn’t have to message or call about. The snacks and oatmeal in the kitchen were such a kind touch. I loved the shower shampoo, body wash and conditioner. Comfortable couch and very comfy bed. Beautifully decorated and the location is just a short walk to downtown Hot Springs. My best friend and I will definitely come stay every chance we get. Look forward to staying in all of their rentals.

Great getaway close to everything!
Wow! My husband and I stayed at this property in July and we loved every second. Very clean and updated, very thoughtful and generous on the essentials and amenities inside the house and excellent communication with the owners. Best weekend!
My husband and I came to Hot springs for our 10 year anniversary, the Spring Bungalow was the perfect place for a weekend get away, so close to downtown but far enough for privacy, it was clean and cozy! Home away from home! The thoughtfulness in the room was amazing! Toothbrushes incase you forgot along with a razor and tampons which would have been a lifesaver if needed, fully stocked kitchen of things needed, It was fantastic, we will definitely book again!
