Assistance with luggage and a proper stove please
Vehicle access is from the main road and there are two flights of stairs to get to the hotel which is up the hill. There is no snow mobile assistance to unload/load your luggage as many other accommodation in the area do.
We had a mini portable electric cooker in the room that is very slow to heat up and you had to choose either the oven or the electric stove function at any one time. A proper electric stove/oven will be useful since the accommodation actually could fit 12!
However, spa access is amazing after a day's workout on the mountain.
The room did not have a dining table. Requested and was given a table/4 chairs.
The condition of this property was so bad that it didn't even meet the base line for paid accommodation. The couch was broken and unusable. There was mould around the windows and they haven't been cleaned in years. The toilet was filthy. The kitchenet did not even have a power point to run the useless hotplate that was provided. The fridge was broken, The mattress have loose springs..and on it goes.
This place was so bad that I'm going to lodge a chargeback on my credit card as the facility did not meet baseline expectations for human occupation.
Its just a shame that I cant load photos to verify.

Great location, building condition ok, suitable for young people. Beds annoying and squeaky. Spa and pool seems like hardly gets cleaned. Overall had a good time.
Alberg was great. Close to the slopes and the village bus stopped right outside. Room was clean and spacious with drying racks and full kitchen. Reception service was average and wasn't exactly the most helpful. Ski hire was average, could probably get better hire equipment at Hotham Central.
Stayed here for 3 nights. The room was ok, had what we needed though it could use an update. For a large place like this they could do with a recreational centre with games and pool tables etc, for when the weather gets bad. The snow bus stops right outside which was great to get the car and if you want to go a bit further to Jack frost.
The restaurant only serves pizza and burgers on special nights we struggled a bit finding food after 7 that wasn't pizza anywhere. The mini mart was extremely limited and of course expensive but so was the supermarket at hotham central.

This property is a disgrace for the price
Facilities: Basic; Value: Affordable; Service: Good, Friendly, Courteous; Cleanliness: Dirty, behind the d-bed was food;
We had a wonderful stay and I must point out, the customer service from the hire shop within the Arlberg was amazing!
Facilities: Good; Value: Affordable, Economical;
Excellent heating in the room (hydronic) & heaps of beds - a set of bunks & 2 doubles with the bunks & a double in a separate room for our kids
