Experience the comfort and luxury of a hotel combined with the personal touches and charm of a private home. The Top Hat is the largest suite in our lovingly restored Hudson Milliner Boutique Guesthouse. Built in 1860, the building was once used as a milliner's hat shop, and we have preserved many of its original details such as solid mahogany stairwells, stunning pocket doors with etched glass, and gorgeous hardwood floors.
The suite features two bedrooms; the master bedroom has a queen-sized wrought iron bed and the smaller bedroom has a queen-sized loft bed. Both rooms have designated workspaces, reading nooks, and closets with hangers. The spacious private bathroom has been renovated to combine old-world charm with a luxurious walk-in shower. Oversized windows flood the rooms with sunshine and the 14-foot ceilings feature exposed original beams. A curated selection of locally sourced antique furniture and meticulously restored mid-century appliances meet modern conveniences such as central AC and heating, high-speed internet, blue-tooth speakers, a building-wide water filtration system, and access to washer/dryer. Special touches include bespoke fixtures made by reclaimed industrial materials, decorative floor tiles of our own design, and original artwork by us and our talented friends. Washer and dryer are available on a separate floor.
All guests have access to our beautiful covered greenhouse courtyard, a lovely space to enjoy your morning coffee, get work done, or indulge in a glass of wine. You can also use the BBQ to grill up a family dinner.
You won't need a car, as we're a 10-minute walk away from the train station. For guests who arrive by car, free street parking is available. If you have trouble finding a spot, we offer a private parking space for $30 per night.
Guests will have sole access to their kitchen, bathroom and living area. Our guests' privacy is very important to us.
Hudson Milliner is centrally located on the 400 block of Warren Street in Hudson. You have a great selection of restaurants, incredible antique stores, coffee shops, local pubs, as well as live music venues within walking distance. A nature walk just north of Hudson in the reserve is just a bike- or car ride away. A little further away are our personal favorites Bash Bish Falls and Kaaterskill Falls.
