Deerhurst Resort offers 400 accommodations with coffee/tea makers and a hairdryer. Televisions come with cable channels and pay-per-view films. I was very disappointed with my stay. The room was dirty, with dog toys left on the floor, and the so-called balloon room was extremely unclean. The washroom had not been properly cleaned, and one of the towels even had blood and hair on it. A pillow was also in poor condition. When I went downstairs to speak with the reception staff, their response was unprofessional—they simply said they could clean the room but nothing more could be done. Because of this experience, I will never return to this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone.

We stayed in the Bayshore by the beach and it was a large, clean room. Lots of hot water. Comfortable beds. Lots of soft pillows - could use some firm ones. We had meals at the Drift buffet twice; the Compass Grill twice and the Maple Pub once. All food was excellent but expensive. A good place to grab a less expensive meal is the Farmers Daughter. We tried to book massages and escape room but were not successful. The weather was cold and rainy so most outdoor activities were out. The indoor pool was good as was the hot tub. All staff were friendly and helpful. It’s important to note this is a family friendly resort. There are lots of kids running around, screeching. We didn’t mind most of the time. Good place for families. Also there were LGBTQ+ Friendly signs which we appreciated. Overall a good visit and next time we might take our grandkids.
