Disappointed with this property. It needs serious updating, maintenance and cleaning. Hallways on second floor were not vacuumed, large pieces of debris laying around. The furniture in our room was in poor condition, chair covers ripped and falling apart. The bathroom lights at the mirror were so dim you could not see to shave or apply makeup. The hairdryer did not blow hot air, needs to be replaced. The view out of our window of the back of the property was garbage and debris spread along the bush line, contrary to the Best Western next door who had lawn and picnic tables for their guests. The rooms were quiet, beds comfortable, showers hot and good water pressure. Breakfast was okay. This place appears to be cutting corners where they can to save money. One last observation, they flew an American flag and a Canadian flag at the front. The Canadian flag was ripped and tattered. The American flag was in perfect condition, not a good image. This property is not typical of other Holiday Inn Express we have stayed at. Not likely to return to this particular location.
