Breakfast options are limited. Staff are not attentive. Needed to tell multiple staff members about needing a refill for the juice containers, and even 15 minutes later they were not replaced. There were multiple power failures, including one in which we almost got stuck in the elevator. For a supposedly 5-star hotel, the power disruptions should not have been felt by the customers and the generators should have kicked in automatically, which never happened. Even in remote villages, with an inverter in the house, the lights never go out. However, the Taj Deccan had multiple power failures during which the lights went out completely which definitely surprised me!! After staying at all 3 Taj hotels, I have to say that Taj Deccan is the worst of all in every sense.

Fantastic staff - excellent service.
I absolutely loved the Taj Deccan. My second visit here on this trip, and the staff were as kind as I remembered them the first time. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and the service is excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. Despite the location, it is silent - even in the pool outside, where the road isn't that far away, there is no noise, and I was able to relax.

We really appreciate the hospitality of all the staff members at Taj Deccan.They were all so loving and caring.We would like to specially mention The Sous Chef Mr Kumar and his crew who did an amazing job in feeding us good food .Jay was amazing with his hospitality describing about various food options and also suggesting some great sight seeing places in Hyderabad .Manager Rajnikant and Shikar took extra care of our comfort.The two coaches and life guards at the gym and pool were equally helpful as they made us comfortable and helped my kids to do the correct workout. Last but not the least the driver who took us to Hitech city and financial district was amazing.He was like a tour guide. The six day staycation at Taj Deccan was a memorable one for me and my family.Thanks to each and every crew member for providing us an unforgettable experience at TajDeccan.Would love to revisit in future and would highly recommend people to stay at Taj Deccan Hyderabad .Thanks and Cheers, Sai and Sangeetha
