Absolutely fabulous!!
The property is set on the edge of the village with commanding views of the mountains. There was nothing better than coming back from the beach and relaxing on the roof terrace - a real bonus!! The cottage itself was a delight. There was everything there that we needed to make our stay a joy that it was. The locals were very friendly and we couldn’t fault the place if you want to get away for peace, quiet and relaxation. We will return!

Peaceful setting, traditional Greek house in a small village in the mountains
Lovely stay, small place but very comfortable. So quiet and relaxing with friendly locals nearby. A good contrast to the main town situated at the bottom of the hills on the seafront where there were many Tavernas with reasonably priced good meals and of course beautiful clear warm waters for swimming. Perfect combo!

A fantastic stay - thank you!
We had such a lovely time staying in this delightful cottage! The village of Agios Stefanos is extremely charming, nestled into the mountainside overlooking the rugged south coast. We found the local Greeks and Europeans to be very helpful and friendly, offering useful local knowledge and making us feel very welcome indeed. The cottage itself is on the edge of this old village, offering privacy and accessibility. It is extremely well equipped and comfortable. The Mosquito Blinds ensure the inside remains free of bugs, although there are very few mosquitoes around anyway, so we could enjoy evenings on the roof looking at the stars and stunning surroundings. There is also plenty to do and see in the area - Vraiko Cave outside Pefki village offers an impressive and extensive stalagtite/mite series of interlocking chambers. We felt like explores discovering this gem for the first time, as there is no lighting/walk-ways etc (or entry charge). The folk museum, mountaintop church and Gorge Walk around Pefki are also great activities to do when you're not exploring the various sandy or rocky beaches. These are quite different from each other - some good for snorkelling (dragon's cave near Kalo Nero) and others better for younger children, such as the main beach at Makrigialos Beach, which is sandy with shallow calm water close to parking and the town facilities. We also enjoyed some days simply relaxing at the cottage and reading some of the interesting books from the cottage 'mini library'. We were particularly grateful for the wealth of information contained in the Visitor Book at the cottage, packed with helpful tips from a wide range of appreciative visitors. We very much hope to come here again! Francis and Avril

Vielen Dank Richard!
