Sadly the hotel seems rather dowdy and past its best. Everything seems in need of a makeover. No food available on a monday night and the bar is overpriced and the wines are at best average Few guests made it soulless to sit in the bar

A really classy hotel. For an old building, it has been well restored to a more modern feel, but not too modern! Room a great size - shower was the most powerful I have ever seen! Highly recommended and would go out of my way to stay there again.

Need to update the bathroom. Very odd to not have a shower stall, that is not a stall but a drain in the middle of the shower area. The shower curtain does not go lower to the floor and not the length of the shower area. The sink is to low, near to my knees.

The good and the bad….
We enjoyed our stay very much, except for one glaring issue…the breakfast buffet was a zoo, guests hoarding food, staff being unfriendly and pushy, no food being stocked in the buffet…the young man at the check in was very nice and felt bad, but the older woman on staff was terribly pushy and abusive. It’s too bad because the hotel is nice and the front desk was responsive. Also, our dinner the first night was absolutely delicious!
