Family trip

It was disappointing to find that the gardens are much reduced as land has been sold off for a housing development. The staff were all very pleasant and the hotel is well situated for visiting several National Trust properties.

Lovely Hotel

Really nice hotel, lovely old building, which has maintained all it's old features. Very quiet, comfortable sleep. Well appointed rooms. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Breakfast was a little expensive at £14 per person, which is the only reason, I've given an ok value for money. Otherwise good quality, good value hotel.
