Tervetuloa uskomatonta vuorenrinteelle järvinäkymään! Tässä upeassa kodissa on korkeat katot, kiviseinät takat, lämmin puuviimeistely ja suuret ikkunat, jotka antavat luonnolliselle auringonvalolle valua asuintilaa ja tarjoavat uskomattomia näkymiä Tahoe-järvelle. Aseta takaisin keinuvaan tuoliin lasi malbecia ja ota panoraamanäkymä, kun palokammio palaa kirkkaana laajassa paikassa. Vaeltaa kansallispuistossa sijaitsevia polkuja aivan kodisi ulkopuolella ja hienota lunta Diamond Peak -hiihtokeskuksessa, joka sijaitsee vain 5 minuutin päässä. Koe elämä järven yläpuolella!

Läheiset aktiviteetit: Northstar. Diamond Peak -hiihtokeskus. Suuri korkeus kunto. Sand Harbor -rannat. Action Vesiurheiluveneiden vuokraus, vuokra polkupyöriä Tunnel Creek Stationilla.

A wonderful property
I think that the pictures on the website don't do the view of Lake Tahoe justice. This house is on a hill that overlooks the lake and it provided us with an amazing view of the lake. There are 35 steps to get into the house, and then 2 spiral staircases, so those with issues climbing stairs should be aware. In terms of the house, the wifi is spotty, but the kitchen contained lots of things (salt, olive oil, sugar, spices, coffee, coffee filters, tea, etc) that made cooking easier. The knifes could use sharpening but that wasn't a big deal. There were some missing screens that would have been good to have in place, but the house cooled off nicely at night. The beds were comfortable, and the fact that there were 2 washers/dryers made it easy for all of us to wash clothes during the week. Haley, our AvantStay contact, was amazing and highly responsive and helpful. She answered my questions quickly and thoroughly. If something needed addressed, she took care of it promptly. She was an outstanding representative for Avantstay. All in all, the house, the service that Haley provided, and the amenities in the house helped us to have a wonderful family week. Our expectations were surpassed, and we truly loved staying at the house.

Beautiful place and views are as advertised!
Great stay! Only one recommendation for AvantStay: the internet is terrible, Fix it!! You have to log in and provide email every time you use it, it’s basically a marketing ploy. Makes it hard to research activities, make reservations etc. they should provide reliable internet at a house.

Absolutely best view around!! House was beautiful and great location! We loved it all! The hot tub was great once it got cleaned and turned on, and mgmt was very responsive. House was nicely stocked and bed was super comfy! Would love to stay again!!

Steps not clearly described
Beautiful property and a view that cannot be beat. However, while the description mentioned lots of steps and a circular staircase, it was not made clear that you cannot even get to the main living level or the 3rd story master bedroom without using the circular steps. A more clear description in the posting would be of assistance as we would not have selected this property had we known the precise details of needing to use circular staircases for the living area and the master. The description online sounded perhaps as if the circular stairs were optional and in addition to standard stairs. This is not accurate.

That View!
Absolutely stunning view from the balconies and living room that was great to relax to. House is big and as described with plenty of towels, pillows, seating. Hot tub worked well and it was nice to have smart streaming devices on the TV's to sign into. Thankful for the backup coffee makers and small bonus kitchen downstairs for our big group. Note that it's easy to close off the bottom floor for child/adult naps away from the action. As some others have mentioned, yes, there's some wear and tear on the house but it's not a big deal. Would absolutely be back. Thanks!

Bug Infestation
The good: house is in an excellent location with a world class view and great outdoor space. The bad: there was a full blown moth infestation. We arrived to 50+ dead moths throughout the living room. We had to clean up by hand since there was no broom or mop in the house. At night (even with windows close) the house would FILL with moths….100’s of them. Sleep was impossible as moths would bounce off your head and even hit the ceiling fans and die. You woke to dead moths everywhere. We stayed 2 days and left! Downstairs plumbing also did NOT work. The shower and bathroom were useless. The house is also very tired and outdated. Couches, furniture and rugs need to be replaced. The amenities simply don’t match the price. It has amazing potential given the view and outdoor space but I would not rent unless you get proof of professional extermination for the bugs. Property management was super helpful and credited back our stay which was appreciated. They did a really nice job.

One of the best locations anywhere
The property has the most beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. The decks provide amazing views and a fabulous place to sit and enjoy nature all around you. The inside of the home is nice but not well decorated, with some things are getting old and tired. We were a little disappointed that check in was not better organized, but the management team was responsive and addressed all our concerns. I would suggest that better instructions be provided at the house. 1. How to start the gas fire pit and fire table, 2. How to use the TV. We were able to access only Amazon Fire TV, and no cable. These were minor issues and as we said, the management was professional and responsive. Overall, it’s a beautiful location, an amazing view, but for the price, the interior needs a serious upgrade.
