The parking lot at the hotel is currently closed and they give you no other options besides $44/day valet. The valets were overwhelmed with cars stacked two deep and long waits for cars. The room itself wasn’t great — beds were not comfortable and the shower gel dispenser was empty. The refrigerator was not cold — had to throw out leftovers because they were not kept cold enough to be safe to eat. Would be dangerous if you needed to store medicine or baby milk in it. Overall the hotel is tired and the area around it is pretty empty and sad. There are better options in Indy for sure.

I like the hotel and staff but unfortunately my room 923 was in front of the pool with zero privacy. The curtains need to be all the time and the room is completely dark. I am claustrophobic and it was not good

Hotel is close to all downtown venues. Staff very disorganized. Check in was set for 3PM, but room was not ready until 3:45. Rooms and parking are quite expensive. One in hotel resturant with limited menu options. No complementary breakfast. Not many amenities. Small refrigerator in room, no microwave oven, no iron, no hair dryer. One ice machine location for 24 floors of rooms. Poor cable TV selection, no premium channels, poor snowy reception on most channels.

Check in was fine and simple. Hotel overall feels old and out dated. Carpet was suspect. Once arriving at our room we noticed the thermostat at 80 degrees. We found hotel instructions on how to manage thermostat, nothing worked, A/C in our room was broken. Called the front desk and they said they will be sending their “mechanic” to help assist. After 45 min in the room with no mechanic showing up, I called again to understand the status. He showed up quickly after that. But all he did was unplug and plug things back in then scurried his way out the door. The AC was not fixed. On our way to dinner I stopped by the front desk to understand why I paid for a room with no working A/C in the middle of summer, the staff finally offered to place us in different room with the same style. Once arriving at our new room that night, it was not the same style and there was no window view of the monument which we had paid extra $$$ for. Being tired and coming back late we gave up on trying to secure a different room with the style we actually paid extra $$$ from. One of the worst experiences I had with a hotel, almost ruined an anniversary night. Would never recommend this hotel whatsoever. There are plenty of hotels in the area to choose from, don’t pick this property!!

The manager on duty was very rude and combative. Continued to pursue me after i checked into my room and came back out to leave. Threatened to kick me out the hotel, saying someone told her i called her a bad word. I told her i haven't said anything to anyone and I'm just trying to leave.

We arrived at 3:30 pm for a 3:00 pm check in and was told that the corner room we paid extra for would not be ready for a little while (10 minutes approximately) and I would get a call when it was ready. No offer of water or anything to compensate for the delay. After 30 minutes I went back to the front desk and then they were able to get a room, so we lost an hour plus of our reservation. The room was dingy and the furniture looked well worn. The minimal amount of towels in the room. The television was a disappointment- some channels were clear, but no premium channels or streaming options. The real treat was housekeeping coming into our room at 9:00 am (three hours before check out time). I do not plan on booking at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

Air conditioning in the room was junk. Never below 70, woke up to a 75 degree room, so it wasn’t a great night of sleep. It’s a shame, everything else about the place is great. Pool was decent, definitely lack luster, has potential to be really nice. Hopefully the place will improve someday, till the AC is fixed I won’t be returning.

The entrance to the garage was under construction during our stay, so we were forced to use valet service, which was very efficient, but pricey. The hotel was very clean and the front desk staff were friendly. Numerous restaurants were located few blocks away. The swimming pool was refreshing on a very hot day. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed one night in a king corner room. Excellent views of monument. Room was great. Bed was excellent. Loved the air purifiers. We did dine and have drinks at restaurant. Great service and food was good. Not bad pricing. Breakfast buffet was well stocked with great service as well. My only complaint is the restroom facilities near pantry. No toilet paper and only 2 were ok to use. Valet was excellent too. Good price for a downtown hotel. Will stay again.

We live just 45 minutes from the Hotel and it makes a great weekend get away. We love going to see in Indians and stay at the Sheraton. The rooftop pool is nice and relaxing.
