Rooms were very new looking and of high class, very much enjoyed my stay there. Staff were helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was very nice, with plenty to choose grom
the actual hotel and rooms were excellent. HOWEVER... the check in staff gave approximately 20 reserved rooms to walk ins. this was only learned later. initially they told all of us the rooms weren't ready and they would be in 15-30 min. my wife and i waited over 90 min and many of the groups waited over 3 hours. all they would say is that they were sorry. no contrition at all. also they promote onsite parking but it's mostly for staff as there are no way near enough spaces for the majority of guests. infuriating and horrible way to run a hotel
Pros:

Cons:
- Vinyl floors make the room above you very loud when someone is walking around
- Beds are uncomfortable
- Parking is a disaster on event days. The garage is not owned by the hotel, so they will let cars in until all spots are full, even if you paid for parking with your stay. If you stay at this hotel so that you are close to your Lucas Oil Stadium event, make sure you are in a parking spot 5+ hours ahead of the start of your event so you have a spot.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Wood floors, clean just a little tight. Two queen beds great. Mattress was good. Shower was clean and new, water flow not bad.
TRU by Hilton was great. Treyvon at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The Hilton idea of guests being able to fill their own beer or wine (at a reasonable cost) is so great. No one traveling with a family or alone wants a hotel bar situation. I applaud Hilton for taking the lead on this, especially as a woman who sometimes travels for work. It's nice to know I can take a glass of wine to my room to watch TV. This Indy hotel is in a great location and the staff is awesome.
My room was not cleaned for 2 nights. There is not closet in the room and the clothes just hang over the fridge -- not ideal. No coffee maker, and not much water pressure in the shower. Other than that, spacious room and very clean, and nice view.
Quick trip to celebrate BFs bday. I am a big Hilton stayer but have never stayed at TRU.
Smaller than the normal Hiltons but all & all everything was fabulous. Especially the pancake maker.
This is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is new, so beautiful and clean. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Walkable to many bars and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it!
