We had a good time here. The rooms were clean and warm, the kitchen was fully equipped, and the location was very good. It was suitable for our two families of four people to stay. We will choose Ingonish Chalets again.

A convenient location near Ingonish and Highland National Park. The chalets allow privacy as well as peace and quiet. They are older with soft mattresses but overall quite acceptable.

We rented 2 chalets and were very happy with both. Each chalet provided a "living area" with TV, couch and chairs-very comfortable for card playing and hanging out with traveling friends. Location was terrific - a secluded, wooded area & only a 5 minute walk to waterfront. Couple of local groceries. Great get-a-way.

Chalets are all natural wood with a "rustic" feel. Log cabin style with modern amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Property has a private access to the beach area across the street. One would not swim there due to the rip current however great to walk along the beach.

Shower didn’t work well, was tricky to use and didn’t feel reliable (but we did manage to use it). Virtual desk communication was non-existent. The power went out so it would have been nice to have flashlights or candles in the cabins. But overall, everyone we met was super nice! We enjoyed our stay.

The chalet we rented was very clean, roomy and comfortable. However 3 things ended up us rating it less than five stars. First, the check-in. We arrived at 4 pm and our chalet was not ready. Very difficult to obtain a valid explanation. They ended up having us move to another chalet. Second, our shower was absolutely useless. No water pressure whatsoever. Third, the tv was not working. For the price we paid, we were expecting more

We stayed in one of the motel rooms, and we had a refrigerator and a microwave. They provided dishes and silverware for us. It would have been nice to have a sink nearby instead of having to wash dishes in the bathroom. It was nice to have a separate bedroom, and it was comfortable and quiet.

For the cost, the 2BR chalet was poor to fair value. It seemed to lack any recent upgrades with the exception of maybe the mini-split unit. I'm sure they were awesome many years ago, but they are showing their age. While the futon in the sitting area makes some sense for extra sleep space, it is poor sitting for any period of time. This trade-off, in my opionion, was a bad choice.
