I was only staying for 1 night due to business but due to delay of ship I needed 1 more night after checking out.
With the friendly staff I succeeded having one more night.
We had a lovely 2 night stay. The 2 people on reception were so lovely and friendly. It was very hot weather when we arrived and we were pleasantly surprised to see that they had placed an air conditioning unit in the room for us. The breakfast was delicious so we all over ate! We were in a family room and the one niggle we had was that the mattress on the sofa bed was thin and therefore every spring could be felt. We mentioned it to reception and the lovely lady on duty told us that roll out cot beds can be requested instead.
Nothing negative about this hotel, Except the lumpy pillows but that was our fault for not requesting replacements. We had dinner the first night which although was mostly very good we thought a bit expensive. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Big thank you to the very friendly staff especially Georgina at breakfast. She went out of her way to make sure everything was to our liking so big thankyou to her
Staff were friendly & very helpful. Food was good and good value. Parking was excellent. Downstairs rooms were spacious. Very clean throughout. Very pleasant stay.

This trip had to be cancelled at very short notice due to a serious family health crisis. The hotel kindly waived their charge as I had booked a non cancellation room. Obviously did not expect this. Thank you holiday inn for stepping up this time. Next time I will definitely stop with you if I can
