浴場でゆっくりした後に生ビールのサービス(セルフ)は有難い。スタッフの対応も親切丁寧で好感が沸きました。宿泊した新館は部屋も綺麗でした。窓から、雲仙岳が正面に見えて素敵な景観でした。すぐ近くに眼鏡橋などの観光地もあり、アーケード通りには、歴史のある鰻の福田屋産があり、とても美味しかったです。 おすすめの宿でした。

ホテルの外観、ロビーの雰囲気はとてもオシャレで素晴らしいと思いました。 しかし、私が泊まったシングルルームの区画が、とても古いスタイルの建て付けでした。おそらくリノベーションして合体させたのだろうというのがわかるくらい、ギャップが大きかったです。内装、水回り、室内家具、寝具など最初に受けた感動からはかけ離れていました。シングルルームだからと雑に扱われたような気持ちになりました。残念です。部屋の大きさはともかく、もう少し手を入れて、メインの部屋のようなグレード感を整えてほしかったです。 社長と使用人くらいの落差を感じました。アプリ内からでは捉えられないので、価格とキレイな画像につられた客の責任でもあるかもしれませんが、ギャップが大きい分、ショックも大きかったです。
