Yum Balam building is located in Punta Cocos, the most quiet part of the Island. Our location is perfect to enjoy the magic of the island in a more peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and tourism at the island center.

Enjoy the most amazing sunsets from your private rooftop terrace and an almost private turquoise shallow water beach which is just steps away from the apartment.

Starlink wifi up to 50 megas, connectivity won´t be an issue here!
The space
Amazing 2 bedroom Penthouse with private terrace and pool, ideal for families, couples or group of friends who want to have a lovely vacation connecting with nature.

Master bedroom with queen size bed, second bedroom with twin size beds and sofa bed in living room for 1 adult. 2 full bathrooms, smart TV in living room, washer and dryer inside the apartment. Fully equipped kitchen for you to cook your own meals if you feel like enjoying the down time and staying in. Both bedrooms and living room have sheer and blackout blinds.

This apartment is ideal for a relaxing vacation and for guests who want to connect with nature, enjoy the sound of birds and contemplate the beautiful sunsets. The perfect setting for an amazing getaway.

We are meters away from the main touristic spot to watch bioluminiscence; a magical phenomenom at night, but you can also watch it from the beach in front of us, especially during new moon.

Guest access
You will have access to the common shared area and the pool.

Pool hours: 8:00 am - 10:00 pm

No specific hours for private pool, we just ask to moderate the noise after 10:00 pm to not disturb other guests.
Other things to note
* We include welcome amenities: toiler paper, shampoo, dish soap, drinking water, etc. Once guests run out of these, they whould restock their own.

* We want to make sure you have a good rest so that´s why we have quiet hours from 11 pm to 8 am. We ask all our guests to respect this rule as Yum Balam is meant to be felt like a retreat vacation.

* Our concierge team is always available to help you schedule private transportation from and to the airport, tours, massages, utv, golfcart or bike rental, etc.

* In long term rentals, we do not include electricity consumption.

* We fumigate monthly but please understand we are located amongst nature so mosquitoes, ants and some other insects are common.

* It´s important to mention that Holbox has power outages from time to time that may be affected by storms or the power company.

* We highly recommend traveling with cash.

*We provide some drinking water as a courtesy. In case you need more during your stay, we have 20 L water bottles for sale $100 mxn.

*This penthouse includes 2 bicycles and a lock for each one. There´s a $400 mxn fee for both of them (for the whole stay) to wash them and leave them clean for next guests. This fee has to be paid in cash.
