The staff was incredible nica, the only thing was the air condition, is a central air and we needed more cold the room, but the last day they fixed. Room very clean, bed really comfortable and food super delicious.

Fantastic hotel- modern, clean, good breakfast, with friendly and helpful staff. Cannot fault in any wat. The hotel's location is also brilliant- most of the historical sites are within 10 minutes walk, and there are a multitude of dining options nearby. Highly recommended!

We came across this property when desperately attempting to find a new hotel upon arrival to Istanbul. Our booked hotel was unfortunately not in good condition. Aprilis had good reviews and was nearby so we took a chance. The staff were kind and accommodating despite our very late check in. They were quick to help us and over the next couple of days helped us book activities and tours. We went to Cappadocia and Selman was able to help us book a last minute hot air balloon activity. We would definitely recommend staying here as it has convenient locations for most tourist attractions and easy access to the tram. Most attractions are within walking distance and easy to get around. Will be coming back again to stay at Aprilis during this trip.

Staff were very attentive and addressed all needs in a timely manner. Rooms were clean and quiet. Good location to go to the grand bazaar, and sultanahmet square (Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, etc). All within walking distance. Easy to access the tram as well. Staff were able to help guide us with maps and how to load the card for the tram.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well kept. The location is good, but on the edge of the tourist area. It’s safe but on the walk to the Grand Bazaar there were streets that were littered with trash.

Very good option for exploring Sultanahmet area, all major attractions are in walking distance. Also very close to tram stop which is very useful to go to other areas. A lot of options of restaurants around the hotel. The room I got was a little smaller than I expected, for 2 person felt a bit crammed. One thing to note is that this hotel is located in a slightly hilly area, so walking will be slightly more effort than on on the plain.

Hats off to the Aprilis Deluxe for providing one of the best week's of insomnia we've had whilst on holiday, ever. The hotel is a 30 minute walk from the metro station.It was really difficult to get to, along a busy highstreet then down cobbled lanes, dragging the suitcase was a workout.It's supposed to be a 4 star hotel but I wouldn't give it more 3.Our bed was adjacent to next door's bathroom so we could hear EVERYTHING, flushing, peeing, etc. We could even hear chairs being dragged, tv, talking.The room doors don't have slow closers so people just let them slam. At 4am it wasn't funny! We had 2 small single beds.One of the mattresses was as soft as a marshmallow.We reported it to reception who said they would change it if they had another one.It never got changed.We couldn't be bothered asking again. Crucifiction would have been more restful.The breakfast was very basic, about as interesting as a dead jellyfish.The TV didn't have international channels unless you like Russia.Staff were friendly but had clearly been trained to sell,sell,sell.As soon as we arrived,they gave us a tea,sat us down and tried to sell us a package to book a trip on the Bosphorus with a meal and a show, 45 euros no alcohol,60 euros with alcohol,each.We had just ararriv.After travelling all day from 5am it was tedious and annoying.We tried to book it on another evening only to be told that it was “cash only”. We didn't have cash so we didn't bother.We did our own thing which was half the price.

The hotel was easy reach of the major sites. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Only thing I could fault was blanket wasn’t soft and pillow was too firm for me. Did a boat trip (3hr one) via hotel and it was great, really enjoyed it and our stay in Istanbul.

Our stay was perfect, from reception staff to cleaning. All the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite. We will stay here again and would recommend. A special mention must go to Betu for looking after us at breakfast time. Nothing was too much trouble.

I had a great time staying at here. Very convenient to get anywhere around sultan Ahmet area. However if you plan to stay there for business make sure to check the traffic ahead of time to skip the congestion there.

Ok 3-ish star hotel, poor and predatory service
Fairly clean hotel although our room smelt damp. When we told the hotel they told us it was because the air conditioning wasn’t on yet in the room. The smell did reduce when we turned on the air conditioning but this meant every time we got back to our room the first 10 minutes it smelt musty Separately, I always got the feeling the hotel was trying to refer me to do things (eg activities, tours, booking a taxi, shopping through them) to get a commission. A few examples: 1. When I arrived at the hotel they asked what I had booked. I told them I had a free walking tour and they asked if I could cancel it and I should do their paid tour instead. They also gave me a lot of pamphlets for other tours - a boat tour that was more expensive than others I found online (those had great ratings), a massage which was much more expensive than regular hammams, etc. 2. The manager asked me if I was interested in buying rugs and he insisted on bringing me to his “trusted source”. He didn’t offer to give me the address but insisted on coming with me. I suspect to get a referral fee 3. When we were leaving to the airport they offered to get a taxi when they I saw I was ordering an Uber. They said it was 1300TL but after I booked they told me the price wasn’t possible. Overall a cleanish hotel but service was lacklustre and I felt like they were trying to get more money from me. Not a good experience. I should be able to trust my hotel to have my best interests at heart not their wallet!
