Very welcoming staff and comfortable hotel.
Best welcome I have received from a hotel. Stepped from the hot street to be greeted with a refreshing lemonade (free). Very helpful staff. Would definitely recommend.

Very good boutique hotel
Lovely boutique hotel with excellent service. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast had great variety and was plentiful. Our room was very comfortable with really nice sea view overlooking the bridge. Location was a little out of the way in lighting district but close to main tourist area. Street was quiet at night but a little noisy in the morning with people working in the area. Very good value for the money. Would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my stayed at Doruk. The hotel is near the Galata Tower and also near the Galata Bridge where you can take public transportation to the Dolmabahçe Palace and other main highlights. The staff is very friendly and professional. Mohammed was amazing with all his recommendations for dinner. Emir was always so helpful and he makes the best lemonade. Finally my favorite of all! Osmen Bay. I spent three weeks in Türkiye. I was missing my cat and Osmen (the sweetest cat owned by the hotel) was so nice to keep me company and give me cuddles. Thank you everyone for making my last 5 days in Istanbul memorable.

This is a great small hotel close to Galata Tower. Hotel owner and staff are super nice and friendly. Breakfast included great variety of food. Rooms are kind of small in size. We booked a 'superior room' but it barely had space to walk around the bed. We had free upgrade to a larger room after we complained to the hotel owner. Hotel location is good for the Galata area, but next time we would prefer to stay in the old town.

Immaculate hospitality, wonderful experience
This is such a wonderful hotel. Their hospitality is nowhere near the level that is normally provided nowadays. They’re always willing to help, genuinely kind and so fun to talk to. Every guest stops at front desk on their way out and back to have a conversation with staff. They care about you, they’re easy to deal with and everything there is simply so smooth. Breakfast is amazingly fresh and varied. Such good value for money as well. Their cat Osman is a lovely guy that hangs around and makes everything seem so chill and enjoyable, as was our stay af Doruk Palas Hotel. Thank you so much for everything! Hospitality like this is so rare to find these days. I highly recommend this hotel, come here and you will not be disappointed!

Great small hotel with super friendly staff. My room was clean and tidy, with a good view from my window) Great breakfast bar. Liked the staff that works there. Very nice people. I used their shuttle option to and from the airport- loved that service. Will come back again next time! Definitely recommend this place!

Overall a good stay at Doruk - a decent price/value stay, however nothing incredible (so just as expected for what you pay, not some deal as some reviews make it sound) Staff and cats are very friendly and personal. Probably the highlight of our stay. Room a bit unmaintained especially in bath (toilet moving, sink tap not attached etc.). However it’s functional given the price. Room was sold as Sea View however our 1st floor room did not really have any view from the bed. Area around is not nice, abandoned buildings and shops that close very early. However, it did not fell particularly unsafe. It’s quiet (except the prayer call, but that’s expected for Istanbul) so got good sleep. All in all, like I said at the start its what you expect for the price.

This hotel was the highlight of our trip to Istanbul. We were received by the hotel staff who took care of our bags and provided complimentary coffee and lemonade. Mr. Osman, the Hotel manager (also happens to be a Cat), was extremely friendly and always happy to greet us. The rest of the staff (humans) were super helpful and catered to every need we had (transport, recommendations, food, etc.). Our hotel room was very clean and fully stocked. We had the room with views to the Golden Horn, which was always breathtaking upon waking up. This is a hotel where you will feel at home. Staff will often join you for coffee as they explain their culture and traditions. It’s a very homey experience, which is what I prefer compared to corporate hotel chains that may offer more luxury while lacking any “heart”. Highly recommended.

The Staff were all so kind and accommodating. The area is close to Galata Tower. There are many restaurants around and it was easy to get taxi and book uber from the hotel. The room is clean and the AC works great especially that the weather is now getting warmer. Most of all I fell in love with Osman the security cat. I hope to see him again in the future ❤️
