Very comfortable stay. Staff very friendly and helpful and roof terrace wonderful. Ideal location to access Sultanahmet Square (walkable over bridge) explore Karaköy easy transport links to Fener & Balat, Kadikoy, Ortakoy Mosque etc. Room super comfortable but shower could have been hotter and shampoo and conditioner provided not very good - take your own. Small things though - overall highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at the Wings Hotel. You cannot beat the location, with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus and the old city from their rooftop terrace. It's next to the Penninsula Hotel (with pretty much the same view). The location is central, within walking distance to restaurants in the Karakoy area, Galata area and Istiklal Street. It's also a few minutes to Tram 1 (just hop on and 4 stops later you are in Sultanhemet) and within easy access of the pier (to go to the Asia side) or the metro/bus to go anywhere in Istanbul. The rooms are modern and well maintained. The staff are all warm and friendly, but I have to put in a special mention for Emre who was absolutely lovely at breakfast each morning. And speaking of breakfast, it was excellent, served on the terrace with a beautiful view of the Bosphorus!I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Istanbul.

Great place to stay location, staff, and cleanliness wise. There's no lounge, gym or spa/pool. There is a rooftop with indoor and outdoor restaurant options. We stayed in a king bed "junior suite" and it was really comfy. It felt like a regular standard room vs a suite though. The windows do a great job of silencing the street noise. I'd stay here again.

The hotel was in a great location, close to the underground metro and tram. Walkable to most places too - 30 minutes to most places. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were excellent and the room service was great. The only thing really I can complain about is that there was no hairdryer in the room. However, when we requested one, it was brought immediately by staff. If you are wanting to get a taxi to the airport, book in advance because Istanbul is very busy and it can take between 40-90 minutes to get to the airport and 30 minutes for the taxi to arrive. Just be aware that the rooms are directly next to a minute that goes off at 5;30 every morning! 100% would recommend

Wonderful Istanbul 😻
I would like to thank Istanbul, its people who make it more special, and the place for offering a priceless experience. I travel some, and have experienced lots of places. Türkiye has been on my list forever, and Istanbul didn’t disappoint! The Wings is in a privileged position, close to transportation of all sorts, and with a kind, very caring staff. Excellent location! Very walkable. Right next to a mosque with several prayer calls a day but we slept through them after the first night. Pretty rooftop terrace for breakfast. Room didn’t feel as luxurious as the ones in the photos even though we stayed in the Junior Suite. Staff were friendly. Not a fan of the strong scent that sprayed into the elevator constantly but the rest of the common areas were nice.
