The staff is fantastic, very friendly and kind. The rooms are clean although they don't have a lot of space. The AC works but if you are on the other bed far away from it, it won't be as effective if you like your room to be chilled. The main issue is noise from the dance club right across the street. During the weekend they play loud music that even the earplugs won't work. No complaints for the hotel but that noise did not let us sleep for two days.

Sadly they pulled a fast one and gave us a room without a window. The listing didn't mention it, but it didn't say it had a window either. Also the bed sheets were dirty. Location is good though. This hotel gave a bad first impression of Istanbul.

We booked an economy level room. We arrived to find that the room smells bad. We then asked the receptionist to bring us some good smelling refreshing. The room lacked any windows. The bathroom walls arent clean, has some of fungus. We came to the bed to find stains on the bedsheet. The hotel manager was nice enough, to move us to a new building, for the same hotel. The new building is one month old. The new was very clean at first, and we recieved then excellent service.

The lobby and staff are def 4*, but not the rest of the hotel. No special complaint about the room, it was OK, the breakfast was not good at all (no coffee option - machine broken). Our room was facing the street with a club open until 6am so it was hard to fully rest throughout the night without being woken up. The staff however was extremely helpful and kind! I would consider other options next time.

The place is quiet and very relaxing. The staff members are welcoming and provided me with all the necessary information regarding how to move around in Istanbul and the best places to visit. I will definitely visit this hotel again.

Poor service, dated rooms
Would NOT recommend this hotel. Stayed here for 3 nights last week. On night 2, the shower door collapsed on me, glass everywhere and cuts on my body. The hotel did not have a first aid kit, offered no help in acquiring any first aid materials or assistance finding medical care. I requested a refund for this 1 night, since we weren't moved to a new room until the next day, and we were unable to use the shower / bathroom - front desk staff refused a partial refund and was rude to us, despite the injuries sustained during our stay.

The stay was okay, however we had an alarm going off every time we open and close the door, we asked this to be fixed as soon as we moved in and kept asking a few times a day every time we passed by the reception, they kept promising that it would be fixed it but unfortunately nothing happened. Also there was a problem with using the stairs on the third floor, the door handle was broken, they sent someone up however it was never fixed. Tried to order a taxi through the front desk, we ended up waiting for 30 min to then find out they didn't even call. For this type of service - overpriced, seems like we are just paying for the design of the hotel that has no service. We ended up extending our trip but decided to move to a different hotel.

This was a very nice hotel with such an amazing staff. The location was perfect,… near all the cafes and restaurants in Karakoy, but situated away enough that it was peaceful and quiet at night. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay here again.
