Your home away from home while you relax and enjoy Amelia Island. This newly renovated three bedroom two bath private home is in the gated Summer Beach community. Located on a beautiful, quiet tree lined street just a short walk from the beach or community pool provides all the comforts of home including SS appliances, granite counter tops, skylights, updated baths, laundry room and master suite. This house is perfect for family and friend gatherings.

Two separate living areas provide spacious comfort while enjoying time together. The living room is perfect for relaxing or reading and includes a sofa with full size pullout bed. The bright and airy den provides additional seating as well cable connected entertainment. Step out onto the pavered lanai to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or the warm and breezy evenings.

The master suite includes a spacious, modern walk-in shower along with dual sinks and a large walk-in closet. A king size bed with fresh linens as well as towels are provided. A cable equipped television is conveniently mounted on the wall and out of the way. Plenty of cabinet storage and hanging space is provided in the walk in closet.

A second guest room includes a queen bed, spacious closet with hanging and cabinet storage, ceiling fan and cable television.

A third guest room includes twin beds and a spacious closet with extra hanging and cabinet storage along with a television.

Separate laundry room with washer and dryer as well as counter top for folding laundry. The dining room seats 7 with 3 additional seats at the kitchen bar. Granite counter tops and stainless appliances throughout the kitchen as well as a Keurig and drip coffee maker. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensil, cutlery, pots and pans.

The property has access to a private community pool and is steps from the beach. A screened outdoor shower as well as beach chairs, beach umbrella, tent, bikes and beach toys are provided.

We know you will enjoy this home and community along with all the beautiful Amelia Island has to offer.

Note: Pool is not heated.

Minimum 3 night stay however summer rentals require 1 week minimum. Open to longer term stays as well.

Pros: great location, fairly priced, nice layout, well furnished. Cons: desperate need of an interior paint job and exterior wood repairs to the pergola, exterior shower frame (which is in bad shape) and driveway railroad ties. Bedroom carpets are worn and soiled. Green algae growing on big windows in tv room. Tankless water heater needs service. Does not consistently produce hot water. No grill. Could be a great property but needs some TLC.

Wonderful Beach House
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Great amenities and modern. There were tons of beach related items to use such as chairs, toys, bikes. Pool is around the corner and awesome beach access about a block away. We didn’t want to leave. Phenomenal vacation stay and Derek was extremely quick with communicating with us. Highly recommended!

Great Vacation!
Had a great stay. Location is perfect. Super short walk to the beach and pool, close to the Ritz, grocery store and dining. Short ride to downtown Fernandina for shopping and more dining options. The villa was just as described, had all the kitchen items we needed, a great patio for morning coffee and two indoor for relaxing. Great communication from the host. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing property in a great location!

Fabulous Beach Home
We had a fantastic stay at this property. The home was spacious and super clean- it looked exactly as portrayed in property pictures. The mattresses/sheets were so comfy. The kitchen was as well equipped as I’ve ever seen in a rental, and we had all we needed for the beach provided as well - chairs, tent, boogie boards. The owner was immediately responsive to all questions. As for the area, the walk to the beach was short enough for us, and we adored downtown Fernandina Beach. Don’t hesitate to rent this property!

Great location on the island!
We enjoyed our 2 week stay in the Summer Beach area. The house is located on a quiet tree lined street just five minute walk to the beach. There are nice walking trails close by. Everything was as pictured....beautiful large state of the art kitchen which was fully stocked. I don't cook much on vacation but liked the refrigerator with filtered water and ice-maker. The only thing that wasn't wonderful for us was the comfort of the sofas in the sitting rooms. We are not large people and the sofas seem to be made for tall people and were quite saggy with no support. Otherwise, a very nice place to stay.

Holiday Fun
We held our family Thanksgiving Day celebration at Derek's house, it was the first time in 2 years all our kids were together with us. The kitchen was one of the best stocked ones we have ever rented and was perfect for making an awesome turkey dinner. There was plenty of space for all of us to eat and watch football games, their online options were perfect and the TV was easy to use including with the DVD player. Even though the weather was not great, we were able to adjust the indoor temp accordingly. The location was nice but unfortunately was not used much. Definitely would recommend to any of my friends.

Perfect Beach Getaway
This was actually one of our top vacations ever! The house was found as described/ pictured. It was clean and spacious, there were extra linens/ towels and had some basic kitchen and bathroom staples available on arrival. The kitchen had a great supply of dishes, pots and pans. The beach and pool was nice and not crowded at all. They were both very easy to access (just a short walk). There were several scenic walking and / or biking trails nearby and everyone we met or passed by were very friendly. The area felt very safe and the location was perfect as it only took 15 or less to get anywhere you wanted to go on the island. There were so many delicious local restaurants and activities for the whole family. This is a great home, we would definitely stay here again!
