First room offered was trashed as we entered, offered another room next to screaming kids all night. Then, fire alarm went off due to weed smoking on tenth floor. Poor management and place stunk of potpourri overload in the lobby where visible stains on the rugs were everywhere.

In adequate experience at Doubletree
The room was nice and the view was beautiful. Although when I walked into the room I found a condom box on the floor which was disturbing. Second the shower was a let down because the doors didn’t keep all the water in and also didn’t close all the way and it got all over the floor which I had to clean up every time. Third, I was told to use my room key to do my parking and be charged for it each day and the card never worked so I parked else where and walked to the hotel and I sadly was still charged for the full amount of parking. Fourth, the ac in the room needs to be looked at because I had the ac sit to 69 to cool the room off and it never did. The room stayed at 75-77 the whole three days I stayed.

Every staff member we came in contact with was AMAZING, from the front desk to the restaurant to the bell staff out front. Special shout out to Ashante at the front desk. The priperty is a little worn out...could use some updates to the rooms. But otherwise, our stay was great. And of course, love those chocolate chip cookies at check-in!

We booked this hotel without reading the reviews, only because of what the name "represents" and were very disappointed to say the least. First off, the staff itself was great. Helpful, friendly, courteous. The hotel rooms are run down. Bathrooms: New tiles around the bath tub do not make it a better bathroom when the rest is wallpaper with specks of soap or toothpaste on it. The bathtubs were very old and loosing the coating. It looked like someone tried to paint the spots. The toilet paper holder was rusty, the vanity was worn out. The mirror was loosing it's coating. There was no bath rug or towel that could be used as such. Furthermore, there were no hand towels available only wash rags, so there were 2 large shower towels and 1 respectively 2 wash rags in each room. Rooms: All other walls, baseboards, shelves in the bathroom were poorly painted and caulked. The hotel rooms have balcony access ... that's if you can open the sliding door. We couldn't open nor lock our sliding glass door. The chairs, lampshades and carpet were stained and on the "leather" chairs the material came off, leaving gaping holes of other material. The AC kept everything humid.

The front desk staff was excellent; however, the rooms were not up to par. Our tub was clogged and full of hair, once it was fixed we had already left out but when we returned the tub was filthy and no one came to clean it or at least drop off supplies so we coupd do it ourselves. The room service never came to clean the room, exchange towels nothing!

It was an awesom stay, the quick & easy access to the water taxi was the best surprise. Making getting to the EverBank Stadium walking distance from the hotel.

The property is outdated, they still have the original carpet in the rooms from when they first open. It's worn out, bathroom wallpaper is coming off...the fixtures are rusted. The garbage area is not well lite and is dirty. Would not recommend the hotel

The tub was nasty, its very out dated, and they charge to much for breakfast that wasnt worth it. Over all for the two nights we were there it was ok. The staff was very friendly all but a new girl that had only been there for two weeks.I watched her get very rude with the customer in front of me.

Everything was perfect. The only thing I would like to change was the carpet floor in the bathroom. I prefer laminate floors. The staff was awesome and the valet parking guys were so nice and fast.

Stayed here 1 night to attend a concert at the Arena. Water taxi picks up right out back. Check in was quick, lobby was nice. Bathroom felt a litty scuzzy. Mold in the corners and growing on the ceiling. Didnt want to walk on the carpet with barefeet. Could use a refurbishment. No patio furniture on balcony bc we faced the city, only Riverview balconies have furniture. Not a big deal. Mold was also growing on the outdoor AC unit. I would just give housekeeping a bottle of bleach to spray rooms down in areas that need it.
