We asked to be shown the room before checking in. Their "show room" was not even close to the website, it was very dirty and you get bowled over by the moldy smell. We left and will be filing a claim, Thank goodness we bought insurance.

The room smelled of mildew. The bathroom was dingy and had stained counters. The curtains were so worn that they had holes in them. The shower trickled out water. This was one of the worse stays I have ever experienced.

Convenient to reasturant. Easy check in. But the room smelled musty and music was noisy through the walls. Light in restroom worked only when all other lughts were on. So you had to turn all lights on to go to restroom

I felt like I stepped into the 70s. The moment I entered the room I felt itchy, I stayed all of 5 mins and left. Worst experience ever! Dirty, smelly, and disgusting!!

The staff was amazing, helpful and friendly. The facility was but the room condition was, ok. The bad part is the mold. My bathroom ceiling was covered in mold and the AC has a mold issue as well. I woke up in the morning and was congested and felt terrible. Luckily it all cleared up over the next day. More attention needs to be made to mold issues.

The room was nothing spectacular but was very clean. Upon arrival, the front desk was very pleasant. There were multiple individuals hanging around the door, but that was the smoking area. We booked a non smoking room so my husband went out and smoke at the designated spot and was drawing artwork for a concert when he was rudely pointed out and questioned about who/what he was doing there. Mind you at this point we have been in and out multiple times. The manager was very disrespectful and rude when he came to get his wallet and since I had the room under my name, I went up there with him. Why have a smoking area when you can't smoke at it? The manager could have approached this in a different manner. There were all kinds of people hanging around out that door where smoking was designated. He was the only one treated in this manner and I watched the manager belittle the employee who was coming on shift during this time frame. Just avoid this hotel if possible. There are cheaper hotels that are more pleasant.

The front desk lady when i checked in for my family, knowing she coukd had not capred and sold the room to someone else. We do appreciate how quiet the hallways was too. We do like the room alot and especially the bathroom bc it had a tub option, instead of tapking a shower.

Bates rat hotel on steroids
The place is not habitable for humans. Rat feaces and cockroachs all over. White powder on the floor. This is not even mentioning the prostitutes and pimps as well as the drug dealers in the building and doing drug deals outside. The big mirror on the rooms are also sceptical and have a feeling they are watching the rooms as there are cameras everywhere. How this place is allowed to use you services let alone have people actually booking there with families is beyond anything I could imagine. On top of that I took out the extra for cancellation etc and was told the hotel refuses to refund me the nights not used. I'm taking it as a learning lesson and hope anyone who sees this makes a better choice than we did.

Hurricane evacuation stay
We were here because we were displaced for the hurricane. The room was teeny and didn’t seem very clean. The overall condition of the building wasn’t great. However, the people who work there were very nice. All in all it served its purpose for what we paid

Overall property was dingy with a strong of marijuana and mildew. Sheets in one room were bloody and noticed until the next morning. Had to buy Febreze to get the string odor out of the room. Will never stay here again or recommend this property.

The Issue with this place is cleanliness!! If I absolutely did not have another choice for the night I stayed I would not have remained there. Toilet still had urine on it from previous guest. Hair on and around the sink. Hair- and I mean a lot of hair on the wall of the shower. Smell in the room was bad! Would under no circumstance stay here again. Lesson learned!

After not having power for 22 hours we finally decided to get a hotel. Staying here before in 2015 and having a good experience we thought this would be a good place to stay. However the environment was sketchy with the type of people hanging out. The entire building had the worst smell u could imagine. The first set of keys didn’t work had to get a 2nd set for them not to work then had to go wait in maintenance for 20 min in hallway for the door to still not work. Asked front deskto switch us to a different room because obviously it would have been harder to get a refund for him to lie and say that they were completely sold out. He made us wait another 45 min before changing our room. Then we had to endure someone sounding like they were being beaten all night from screams. I understand you pay for what you get but this beyond the worst experience I have ever had and will report to BBB. There’s definitely either drug dealing or sex trafficking going on here. I absolutely feel a complete refund is more than due for this

GARBAGE. PURE GARBAGE. The rooms were disgusting, the staff were rude and difficult, there were zero “amenities” and I felt very unsafe. Couldn’t even get coffee in the morning. Then all three items (1 soda, 1 candy, 1 chips) I got out of the vending machine were expired. I informed the front desk guy of this and he rolled his eyes and said he “would’ve refunded” me but because I (very unfortunately) took a bite of the candy he couldn’t do anything. It also took me over a week to get my deposit back.

The check in lady was very nice. That was the only good thing about this hotel. The smell was horrible. The elevator was disgusting. Got to my room and everything felt moist.
