The views will blow you away. This sprawling property is amazing both inside and out. Outside, you'll find a dining patio with a BBQ. Kick back to watch the sun set into the water or large ships cruise right pass you!

The property is on Little Marsh Island, which is one of the islands that connects Jacksonville and Amelia Island and runs along the St. Johns River. The islands have been referred to as "The North Florida Keys" and "Jacksonville's Best Kept Secret"
- Located 1 mile from Palm's Fish Camp +boat ramp
- 4 miles away from Ferry crossing (Ferry takes passengers and automobiles from Heckscher Drive to Mayport Village and the Beaches) -Close to several State and City Parks (Talbot Island State Parks, Fort George Island State Park, Kingsley Park, Hanna Park, Hugenot Park)
- 18 miles to the Omni Amelia Island Resort
- 17 miles to downtown Jacksonville and the TIAA Bank Field (NFL)
- 17 miles to the St Johns Town Center (Jacksonville’s upscale open air mall)
- 20 miles via the ferry to Sawgrass (PGA)
-15 mins to Publix and shopping centers
-15 mins to restaurants with an exception of 3 that are very nearby.
-Attention fisherman: You can’t get any closer to the ocean! There are lots of tournaments and you are minutes away from the Atlantic Ocean. (Boat lift is
not for guest use) House is located on a main shipping channel which makes the tides go up and down by 6-9 feet which means you cannot tie up a boat to the dock. If you are bringing a boat we recommend putting in/put at local ramp and just enjoying the dock for sitting on, hanging out, fishing etc.. please mention if you are bringing a boat when booking so we can go over everything.

House is full of information on all parks+resturants+things to do!

There is a non refundable $400 pet fee.
Outdoor fire pit and fireplace are not available for guest use. They do not work.

QUIET HOURS: ALL DAY. There is never a time that music can be turned up, people yelling/celebrating. Our neighbors are very close by and respecting them is our number one priority. If rules are broken/ neighbors report, guests will be asked to leave immediately, and your payment will be forfeited. This is absolutely not the place for any social gatherings. This property is located in a very quiet neighborhood with neighbors close by.

Surveillance cameras are present around the entire exterior of the property located at all corners, pointing to the outside of the entire home including the dock and pool deck area for safety purposes.

Highly recommend this luxurious house with every amenity you and your family could need. Conveniently located and private enough for a peaceful getaway. This serene beauty and gem was exactly what we needed!! The house was immaculate and spacious. The outside was very well kept. I don't what this place didn't have. Because I'm a chef, we brought things from our house we didn't need. This place was stocked and has everything you'll to have a great stay. We all absolutely love the accommodation and amenities! Thanks to the wonderful host for sharing your home and making the process efficient. Overall, the best air BNB we've ever stayed in hands down!!!

Amazing home!
The home was immaculate, the sleeping rooms very nicely furnished and comfortable, the game room was an added plus! You can’t beat the location on the River. Kids were fishing off the dock in their pajamas at sunrise. The pool and hot tub added hours of fun and relaxation.

Relaxing Get-A-Way
We were in town for a major car show ( The Amelia). Convenient location for the show. Beautiful home with plenty of activity on the river to entertain your family. Cruise ships, tankers, Coast Guard, Navy ships, military planes and much more. Maghen is a gracious host. We are thankful that she opens up her amazing home to my friends and family. The house is beautiful and meticulously maintained. We are big travelers and rent at many locations. Meghan stocks the house with everything you need. Give this home serious consideration when you're in the Jacksonville area!

Second time was even better than the first!!!
We love this property and host!! The property is so clean and well maintained…that really means a lot to me when booking somewhere. I am an extremely nit picky cleaner and this home is one of the only VRBO’s I have stayed in where I feel comfortable and do not have to worry about cleaning when I get there. This time the host had a beautiful charcuterie board, delicious cookies and lots of snacks upon our arrival. This was so sweet and was devoured quickly. Though there are many things to do in Jacksonville,the kids just really enjoyed spending their time in the pool at the house. We love that it has the “cage”around it. The dock and views of the river and big boats were also enjoyed by all. This year we even caught 2 crabs!! We also like how the house is close to so many different beaches and things to do. I would highly recommend booking this property and we are looking forward to hopefully visiting next year!!!

Our family has been renting homes all over the country for every occasion, business and pleasure. For the last decade we have rented homes instead of staying in hotels. This is one of the best homes we've stayed in and the host is by far the best host ever! From the welcome goodies to the entire home, they are the best. Wedding out of town guest accommodations
We rented this home for our family and out of town guest coming into Jacksonville for our daughter's wedding. The house did not disappoint. It is equip with everything you could possible think of. The beds have a remote to raise or lower the bed to your comfort. The kitchen fully stocked. Plenty of towels for the pool along with pool floats, etc., Fishing rod in the garage and beach chairs. The temperature in the house was consistently cool, the temp did not fluctuate throughout the house. Bedroom closets were arrange for maximum usage and the cabinets in the closets were a great help to have your person item out but yet tucked away. The upper deck stretches across all 3 rooms on the second floor. I would absolutely rent this VRBO again. The living room is a sunken room with steps down from the foyer and from the living room to the kitchen were steps up. This did make me a bit nervous as I had 2 older (80's) adults in our party. The steps were marked with safety tape and had large planters in the middle in an effort to minimize traffic. We had no issues with the steps. The owner left us a personal note with a welcome snack basket and had a charcuterie board delivered. I could go on and on about how great this place is. 5 STAR

Excellent stay
This is our second stay in this property. We had a house full with family during my son’s wedding weekend. Everything was just as clean and perfect as the first time. We had a few water pressure issues but Maghen was very responsive and sent over help right away. I even baked desserts for my son’s rehearsal dinner and the kitchen had everything I needed. The views and the pool area are beyond compare. Thank you so much for another awesome experience!

Amazing house, best pool!
When we were looking for a vacation rental, we wanted to find a place that had a lot of amenities in case the weather didn’t cooperate. This house fit that in spades. The weather, though, was amazing and yet we loved just hanging out by the pool and spa the best. House was spotlessly clean and beds were so comfy. Great communication with host as well. There was a nice beach 10 min away and Amelia Island was also very close. And the location was quiet and low key. We had such a relaxing trip!

This home will exceed all your expectations, and so will its owner!
This was our second time staying at this home, and it was even better than the first! Maghen goes out of her way to make sure you have a superior experience. There are instructions for everything, snacks of every stripe, and even a spectacular cheese and fresh fruit board when we arrived. The house is freshly renovated, spotlessly clean, and wonderful! Maghen contacted us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. You just can't do any better than staying here!

Relaxing Loction
If you wanna unwind and get away... this is your place. Huge house! Quiet. Lots of action to watch on the river. Mahgen is a perfect host. She sent us links of cool things to do. There was a charcuterie welcome board. We took a scenic road to Amelia Island and had dinner at Bob's Steak and Chop House. Awesome place. Really nice beach too! It's like 10 mins from the house. Check this place out... well worth the price!

Wonderful stay!
This was a wonderful property! Beautiful and comfortable with more amenities than you can imagine! Maghen went above and beyond with her hospitality and being available by text to help in whatever way we needed. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed the local suggestions she gave us for sight-seeing. Would highly recommend for a family or 2 families. Plenty to do at the house and in the area for families. We enjoyed visiting Kingston Plantation, Amelia River Cruise, Little and Big Talbot and Amelia Island state parks, driving to St Augustine and Kennedy Space Center. And coming home to a heated pool was great! Thank you!

WOW - Outstanding - Phenomenal - Let's start there! We were blown away by everything, especially the service and the great partnership with Maghen. We could get an early check-in, and we were greeted with cookies and muffins along with excellent instructions on where to go locally for the BEST restaurants, pickleball, and groceries. The home itself blows us away; look at the pictures! I became the HERO of the week because I found the place. We will be back, and this will be our First and only option when we do! Maghen, thanks for being such a great host!

Maghen and her property exceeded our expectations. Our original house was cancelled 30 min before we were to check in so we were desperate to find a new place. This property wasn’t really available, but Maghen came to the rescue and made last minute arrangements for us. The house was extremely clean and had everything we could want. The pool is AMAZING! All of Maghen’s recommendations were spot on. The beach was convenient with very few people during the week. We cooked dinner most nights and had all the pots/pans/utensils needed. The dock is awesome. We saw giant ships and even a cruise ship right in the backyard! We fished, saw dolphins and even saw a manatee! The beds are so comfortable. We didn’t even use the bikes and barely used the game room! So much to do in this home! But the best part is that Maghen makes it comfortable and was a great communicator. We would love to come back here again. I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you, Maghen!

Beyond Wildest Expectations!
The “Island Estate” house and grounds were absolutely magnificent and was beyond our families wildest expectations! We chose this house in case our activities were rained out due to frequent summer thunderstorms, which they were. Having a pool, a game room, and an outdoor ping pong table kept us busy and having fun even when we couldn’t go out and enjoy the beach or town. The temperature of the pool was perfect! The house has all the amenities you could ever need (and then plus some). The house also has everything you need for your stay detergent, towels, sun block, aloe after burn, toilet paper, coffee, paper towels, cooking spices, cooking oils, floats for the pool, etc. The furniture and beds in all the rooms were extremely comfortable. Maghen was an incredible host in every way, communicative, responsive, and helpful providing recommendations (the various beaches were beautiful and not crowded at all). Maghen also left a few surprises that our family enjoyed. She is truly a SUPER HOST. In closing, this is the perfect family vacation house! Our family built great memories here and would definitely stay again. I know the rating is up to 5 but I give the “Island Estate” house a 10+.
