Close to the bullet train station so our trip in and out to see friends was so convenient. Getting to the hotel from the station was just steps away so we could put our things away and cleaned up before we met friends. Again on the way out the convenience to the bullet train was amazing.

Very convenient hotel gor people travelling with JR, the hotel literally next to the Joetsu stations, the hotel had their own spa, washing amenity and mostly everything you need it's in the house. I fully recomand APA JOETSU HOTEL if you want to spend your holiday in Joetsu prefecture.

Great location. Brand new hotel!
Great hotel that is brand spanking new. This is quite literally the nicest hotel in a very small town. Located right next to the train station, if you are traveling here by rail it will be the most convenient option for you. We arrived by car and there was a convenient parking lot. Not much of an option for food around there though but the hotel does have a restaurant inside. This will also be the place where you will be eating breakfast which I highly recommend. The hotel is clean and decently sized for Japan. The staff was also very friendly and speaks decent English. We plan on coming back here again for winter for a Snowboarding trip in Nagano region.

Brand-new, conveniently located because it was right next to the train station, but nothing for sightseeing or shopping around the area. Only place to shop was in the train station which closed at around 9 PM.

Very new hotel
A fairy new hotel in the middle of Nagano and Niigata. Comfy bed and pillow which I initially thought might be too soft but turned out to be a very good night sleep. Room is a bit small but I think that’s the standard Japan hotel room. Had a bit of an issue with the onsite parking at night as we were asked to park at the parking lot next door when we already paid for parking, other than that is was a good stay.
