Colonial lodge with 2 restaurants and 2 outdoor pools
Along with 2 restaurants, this lodge has 2 outdoor pools and a full-service spa. Free continental breakfast, free WiFi in public areas and free self parking are also provided. Other amenities include 2 bars/lounges, a conference centre and massage/treatment rooms. Change of towels is available on request
African Hills Safari Lodge & Spa offers 48 air-conditioned accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors, and features a safe and complimentary bottles of water. Rooms open to furnished balconies or patios. This individually decorated and furnished accommodation has separate sitting areas and includes desks. Beds feature premium bedding. 32-inch flat-screen televisions come with satellite channels. Coffee/tea makers and minibars are provided. Bathrooms include dressing gowns, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers. Additionally, rooms include fans and blackout curtains. Change of towels and change of bedsheets can be requested. Excell. safari lodge just over an hr from Jo’burg
Really recommend this hotel. Has everything you need and more. Great for couples as well as families. Professional staff who work hard to give you the best service possible.

One word “Amazing “ We will be back to this resort that pampered us all week, from the tours to the dining all top notch. The rangers that work with the animals and guides for the hikes are in love with their job and it shows. Can’t say enough about this place

Always an amazing stay
Our stay at this lodge is always amazing. The stuff is extremely friendly and professional. The actual grounds are super pretty. It's a calming environment. Our baby also loved it. Thank you to the restaurant staff always go the extra mile to make our baby happy. Only issue is the wifi, but it wasn't the end of the world. We actually appreciate the downtime.

Worth a visit
Had a wonderful stay here. Our room was directly overlooking a dam and there were lots of animals visiting in the late afternoon. The food was amazing and staff couldn't be friendlier. Would definately visit again

A real hidden gem!
Absolutely amazing short get-away to celebrate my husbands birthday! Askari went out of their way to make it spectacular. The highlight was the game drive and specifically Lovemore! Food is awesome too.

Overall good stay
The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in. The food was excellent, it is not the usual buffet style you would expect from a half board offering, but instead it was plated with a good variety of menu options. The venue itself is nice, I did think I was going to see some elephants, but they are wild and roam as they please, that said we did see plenty game come past the watering hole on the property. My only 2 issues with the venue is that it is not child friendly, balconies and large drops do not have balustrades, you have to keep a constant eye on younger kids and there are not many kid activities available. My other issue is that the bathrooms are a bit dated and could do with a revamp.
