Very lovely accommodations.
Outside, not so appealing but once inside the duplex, very, very happy. Do wish the parking was wider and easier and the upper duplex stairs were more accommodating to the somewhat elderly. We had two people in medical walking boots and the path was difficult for them to navigate. Handrails would help. Also would have loved coasters for beverages since the furniture is lovely.

Perfect stay
The house is in a great location, close to the fun activities while also being far enough away to be quiet. The house had everything we needed. And there were deer in the yard every day! Would definitely rent this again!

Great Property
Our family just spent four days at the Echo Lake Upper property. It was clean, a good location and we saw numerous deer walking around and through the property. It was nice to have a working TV.

What a nice cabin at the south end of Wallowla Lake in Joseph Oregon. Two bedrooms and bathrooms make for a great stay along with a huge kitchen - nice for family meals!

Birthday retreat
Enjoyed our stay at the duplex, great pet-friendly property. Follow the instructions that the property manager sends and not GPS! Lovely waking up to the wildlife grazing nearby and the close proximity to the lake.

Pros and Cons- great for deer watching
Pros- Could hear the creek, lots of deer sleep near this property. Saw a Fox! Spacious kitchen. The area in general is beautiful no matter where you stay. Supplied a fan, that helped cool things down a little and drown out sound of neighbors. Pet friendly. Clean. Has a better bath tub but only fits very small narrow people. Cons- Did not realize this was a duplex. You can hear the people downstairs. We had to listen to a screaming baby. The check in and check out aside from Vacasa updates, felt like “on your own.” We drove by it 4x. Just tell people it’s second house on right and you arrive at back of property and have to walk around front. Sewage smell 1/3 of the time pretty strong outside on deck and parking area. No instructions for TV or incidentals. Have to just figure stuff out. The sofa bed is horrible- mattress is a disaster and sleep on a wonky incline, no blankets or sheets other than a throw pillow that we could find. No laundry or kitchen soap available. Black pepper was empty. Hot- no AC. Screen door is wonky and doesn’t close unless lift and push. In future we will leave Pets at home and pick a place with a pool or hot tub, or near the creek or lake. We still had fun, but for price would have done something else.
