Neighboring Joshua Tree National Park, my Mid Century Modern home feels like an artists retreat with dense mature Trees and arty gardens with intricate sculptures of wonder at every turn.

Expansive ceilings and cement floors flow throughout my zen vibe living space. Still and silently quiet outside, so rare and lovely. The stone patio features a curated desert view to feel the breeze, clean air and views to forget your cares and remember your joy. The fire pit, and outside shower all encourage a reset. Stargaze from the expansive yard on a clear night and visit the Milky Way.

My beloved 1961 Mid Century Modern Homestead is one of a kind and super special! A stylish, artsy designed home with a Zen vibe. Relax & reset inside and outside comfortably, High Desert views, fresh air & stargazing. Desert living with many critters and arty wonders, and, Cool Plunge and Tesla Charger (pay for what you use, just ask).

Comfort and high desert style with 2 HD Buttercup down filled velvet couches, an eating table for 2, a desk with a spectacular view, a very dreamy King size bed with line dried organic cotton sheets, a kitchenette w fridge, microwave and a convection/toaster oven. My delicious bonus room screened in porch with a futon and a hammock can also be outside sleeping for a refreshing night, reading, relaxing or a nap in the breeze. 2 outside areas just for you with a cozy fire pit, a table on the patio and nearby under the Desert Willow Tree.

Sharing the property has been a delight as you can see in reviews it's very private (as a heads up, you might have a neighbor in the west side of the house) - Palo Verde which shares 1 wall to the right of the door. You have private parking, entrance and your own yard to yourselves.

I’ve achieved the "Certified Wildlife Habitat" status and have been included in the “Desert Wise Landscape Tour”. Right on the property and beyond there is abundant wildlife such as Quail, Doves, Roadrunners, Hawks, Owl's, Cactus Rew's, Coyote's, Lizards, Squirrels and, the plentiful natural plantings make this a desert sanctuary with a variety of Joshua Trees, Cactus, Palo Verde, Ocotillo, Sage and Ponderosa Pine Trees, etc. All are well established and very interesting.

There is peace and quiet here, ahhhh... Did we already say we are very serene so you can refresh and reset?

I've created an eco forward living space almost off the grid with grey water systems, so you'll be watering the Ponderosa Pine and Sage bushes, utilizing the mini split HVAC system reduces energy consumption while providing state of the art comfort, I've got Solar Panels, so you're powered by the Sun and, tankless water heaters. The house is your oasis. Feel the space and expansive desert, enjoying the yard and sun shaded patio (a very nice hang out with a fire pit and BBQ), make sure to stargaze as I’m in a very low light area.
