Open-air timber-frame treehouse along the Ocmulgee River

Welcome to our beautiful timber frame treehouse! Hand built by local master carpenter David Green, this is truly a work of art. It is being listing as an “open-air” treehouse right now, offering it at a heavy discount. It will eventually be finished out and once complete, will be listed with a bathroom, lofted bedroom, solar power and hot water.
As it sits currently in Fall of 2024, there is no bathroom or running water. It is essentially an open-air treehouse for primitive camping, so bring what you need!
This is on a 20 acre lot along the Ocmulgee River in Jones County GA. Access to the most beautiful sections of the Ocmulgee river that have some of the best fishing along the entire river. The Piedmont National Forest is adjacent to our lot so there’s plenty of hiking, biking and nature watching! We have kayaks and canoes available, just let us know what you need and we’ll help make your stay memorable.
  • 7 minutes by car from Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge and 12 minutes from The Shoppes at River Crossing
