Welcome to your oceanfront Maui basecamp, Papakea B406! This three bedroom, two bath penthouse unit welcomes you with breathtaking ocean views, the sound of crashing waves, and is conveniently located within walking distance to beaches, markets, the ABC store, restaurants, and food trucks. Enjoy watching dolphins, turtles, and even whales during the winter months while you sip your morning coffee on the lanai.

– The Unit –

Your basecamp has three air-conditioned bedrooms including a master bedroom with king bed, a second bedroom with queen bed, and a spacious loft with two single beds and a secondary living/play room with a queen sleeper sofa. The master bathroom features a double vanity and a walk-in shower. The guest bathroom offers a small bathtub shower, perfect for bathing kids! There is an in-unit washer & dryer, with starter packs of detergent and dryer sheets provided. The four zone air conditioning system ensures that the entire unit is always comfortable, even during the warmer summer months! Perfect for cooling off and relaxing after a long beach day.

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make family dinners after a big beach day, and 12 high-end BBQs located around the pools which offer even more cooking options. The resort also offers two oceanfront cabanas that are perfect for larger group dinners!

We hope you bring the kids along - we are very family friendly and have everything you need from babies to teens! Please reach out for a complete list of what we provide.

– The Resort –

Papakea is on the north end of the Kaanapali Beach Walk (~3 miles long) which is great for oceanside runs, sunset walks, and offers easy access to miles of Kaanapali’s pristine beaches, great snorkeling, restaurants, and shopping at Whalers Village!

The resort features two pools, two hot tubs, tennis & pickleball courts, shuffleboard, putting greens, 13 acres of lush gardens, koi ponds, and organized resort activities for kids and adults!

The property has an on site concierge who can help organize Maui adventures for your family, as well as a front desk to help with daily needs.

This is our family's favorite place to be and we hope it becomes yours too!

– Guest Access –

Check in with the friendly staff in the beautiful resort lobby, where you will be given a hotel-style room key, a parking pass for your vehicle, as well as an overview of the resort and its amenities.

If you arrive before check in, you are welcome to change into your swim suit (the lobby has convenient bathrooms), and head to the pool or beach until it is time to check in!

There is plenty of unassigned parking on site with 24 hour security throughout the resort.

Please note, there is a $25/day resort fee that includes parking, internet, resort amenities, etc. This fee is collected at check in by the front desk. If you have more than one vehicle, you can also get extra parking spots for $5/day.

If you need an early check in or late check out, please let us know and our on-island team will do their best to accommodate!
