Papakea Oceanfront Resort - Beautiful 1 BR Ocean View Suite

The Papakea Resort on Maui’s Kaanapali Coast is a relaxing haven on 13 acres of expansive lawns and lush gardens. We offer spacious condominium accommodations overlooking the crystal blue Pacific.
The 1 bedroom suite comes with a fully equipped kitchen and in-room washer/dryer for extra convenience. You’ll have a private furnished balcony or lanai, where you can relax on your own or with friends and family and enjoy spectacular ocean views. The living room is air-conditioned, and complimentary WiFi is offered throughout the resort.

Walk along the beautiful ocean or visit the nearby Kaanapali and Kapalua resort areas to enjoy their beaches, championship golf courses, fine shops and restaurants.

Situated on the Kaanapali Coast, the resort offers two swimming pools and jet spas, lighted tennis courts, two 12-hole putting greens, picnic areas with barbecue grills and poolside cabanas for lounging.

A $25+tax daily facility fee will be collected at the Resort upon check-in. There will be a 10 day maximum charge for the facility fee.

Great condo within quiet but well located and apportioned Kaanapali resort
Two of us enjoyed our stay at the Papakea. The condo offered us all we needed to relax, cook, wash clothes and enjoy Maui. A supermarket is walking distance away, and the common areas (pool, gardens and oceanfront) were perfect for us. Our only complaint is that our unit's bedroom would not get below 81 degrees with the AC running at full speed.

Our unit was clean, nicely furnished and well-equipped. The grounds are lovely and the second-floor unit had a great ocean view. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation experience, this place is for you!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The property was well maintained with beautiful views and access to the ocean. The front desk was very friendly and responsive when I had a question. We had ants in our room and they were able to contact pest control for the next day. The one complaint I have is that the images do not represent the unit and some look nicer than others. Ours happened to be a bit older looking and did not have much provided in the kitchen. Be aware that you might need to buy all seasonings if you want to cook a meal and the unit I had didn't have anything to store leftovers

The vrbo website showed 2 different condo pictures none of which was the unit they gave us , we have stayed here before, the pictures of the units on the website show a condo with a view of the pool, you could not see the pool from our unit, very deceiving!

This is a very nice property with good amenities. There is one, big negative: the air conditioning does not work. I called about it several times and, after awhile, they stopped answering the phone. I cannot imagine how one would survive if here in the summertime because of the heat.

This was the ideal property for our trip. The location is amazing! The view from the balcony has an ocean view along with the pool and koi ponds. You are short walking distance to an ABC store and restaurants/ food truck park.
