Standard basic room. Breakfast was a crush and a war zone. Location is not as convenient as the east entrance of Kagoshima Chuo station.

Toyoko Inn is conveniently located close to Kagoshimachuo Station - a major transportation and business center, therefore close to shopping and restaurants. The large Toyoko Inn sign on a building is a little misleading, as the Inn itself is next door, closer to the station. The only downside to some is that the facility is a little dated but very functional.

Rooms are clean and functional. My room had a view of Sakurajima. Rooms facing the train tracks will have noise, so bring ear plugs. Location is easy 1-minute walk from train station. You also have easy access to AMU Plaza shopping mall, which has so many dining options and a ferris wheel. Also, easy underground access to AEON grocery store.

They combined our double rooms knowing that we are a family. We stayed on the highest floor (level 14) with an awesome view. spacious room with all amenities. well insulated and we didn't need the AC heater. they provide breakfast every morning, and you can take the food up to your room. Very hospitable~
