I like the convenience of the property. The property was clean and newly renovated however, I had to change rooms because of the room smell like mold very bad, the room I was moved into still smelled like mold but it was at least bearable. The shuttle driver did a fantastic job and so did my check in receptionist.

Book 1 king and ended up in 2 supposedly queen beds 2 people could barley fit beds where terrible quality got no sleep. I book bere alot and this has made me reconsider staying here. Also didnt get cups like normal.

Booked king bed got room with 2 uncomfortable supposdly queen beds that were 2 small for 2 people in one bed. Vwry dissatisfied with this stay.

It was one of the worst hotels I have been to. It was dirty in every way possible. Every wall inside and outside the building. Smells coming from the hallways. Absolutely the worst. I paid for 3 nights and stayed for less than an hour.

Property staff were very friendly. No complaints about the staff. Approaching the building at night, seemed like a nice place. Lobby was ok. However as soon as we left the lobby, hallways were old, stained and dirty floors, broken seals on windows, etc. just very run down and old. Room was very, very small. But bed was comfortable. Glad we were only staying the one night after flying in late. Way too much being charged for what you get.

Not what I expected

I had to switch rooms due to ants being in the first room that was not cleaned and unkept. Then the second room that I was in and ended up having ants in the morning. The bed was Warn out and not comfortable. The place overall was in port condition.

I paid for a King room and had to extend our stay by one night. I again paid for a king room for our second night through Expedia and when we checked in, the front desk staff changed my room to a room with two double beds without asking or informing me. I immediately called the front desk asking for the room that I reserved and paid for and she said she found the last king room and moved us. We were very tired from our flight and it was extremely hot and humid. It was a huge hassle to have to move our bags and our car because we were given the wrong room. The property is older and although clean, it needs and update and it would not be our first choice when staying in Kahului again. Example - the toilet in our room was running the last night and morning during our stay. It was too close to checkout to ask them to take a look at it so we had to deal with the constant noise.

This was a nice experience! We stayed over a weekend after a week in a condo. The room was small, but clean and met our needs. On-site breakfast buffet is handy, and the service was excellent! We will be back 😊

The Maui Beach is a great place to stay for value. Is it a little dated? Yes. But the hospitality and rooms are top value. And most importantly the AC works! The staff is amazing!
