Description of the house
The ground floor has a large living room, kitchen, shower, and restroom. Upstairs is one large bedroom with one double futon and two single futons. Both the ground floor and upstairs have high ceilings, creating a very spacious yet traditional feel.
The interior of this house is truly unique. The owner of the house is a local art producer, and has decorated the house with art from international artists but also traditional Japanese antiques. With plenty of space to keep your luggage and an open living room that leads into the kitchen, the house is a great place to relax after traveling.

The Higashi Chaya tea district is a place where you can experience Japan of the past. The traditional architecture, peaceful streets, and the beautiful Asanogawa River make this district a truly special place to visit.
