It is approximately 5 minutes to Brookside, 10 minutes to the Country Club Plaza and 15 minutes from Downtown KC!

What began in 1841 as the farm of Dr. David Waldo, soon became a bustling neighborhood on the edge of the city – a town unto itself. Waldo has never lost its flavor of a fun, little family neighborhood on the edge of a big city. Today, you’ll find more than 600 businesses in Waldo, 60 percent of which are locally owned, surrounded by a family-oriented neighborhood. It’s a wonderful place to work, shop, live and play!

Guests will have access to the entire property and privately fenced backyard. In addition, guests will have access to the basement which has a full size washer and dryer.

About the adorable Walkabout bungalow.....

Kitchen: Everything you need to whip up a quick meal for friends or family is provided. A full set of dishes, pots and pans along with a wide variety of cooking utensils. Save money and cook at home! A full coffee bar with several brewing options such as a Keurig coffee machine, drip coffee maker, pour over and a French press with a coffee grounds, creamer and sugar are provided!

Dining Room: includes a table to seat six for those home cooked meals or a night of board games. A drink mixer set is provided as well for those mixology nights!

Living Room: Comfortably stretch out on the plush sectional and enjoy watching the 55" smart TV.

Bedrooms: Each bedroom offers a cushy queen size bed with hotel quality bedding. You might even get a better night's sleep than you do at home in these beds! Each bedroom is also equipped with it's own 40" flat screen so enjoy a movie in bed!

Bathroom: Brand new tiled shower, vanity and high quality towels will make you feel as if you are in a luxury hotel! One large bath towel and one wash cloth provided per guest as well as dark make-up towels for convenience. Tommy Bahama Luxury bath products available including: shampoo, conditioner, body wash and body lotion.

Exterior: Enjoy relaxing on the screened in front porch or shaded back deck. There is a driveway out front that can accommodate two small vehicles and the backyard is fully fenced so bring your four legged family members.

*IDENTITY VERIFICATION and PROPERTY INSURANCE REQUIREMENT: To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with SafelyStay, Inc. to provide all reservations with damage protection of up to $1,500. This protection plan is $45 for all stays under 29 nights, and is included in the cost of your booking. Stays 30-59 nights will be required to pay an additional insurance premium of $305 directly on our website. Stays longer than 59 nights will be separately charged for damage protection extension at the rate of $130/30 days. Please note, guest screening is also required for any bookings made through VRBO or direct. Once your booking is confirmed, you will be contacted by Safely to complete an identity verification before your reservation date for any direct or VRBO bookings.


*PARTIES - All gatherings must be limited to 6, this is monitored and guests violating this rule will be charged a mandatory $700 fine. NO EVENTS OR PARTIES ARE ALLOWED.

*PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet and $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet, host provides dog bag stations.) There is a fully fenced back yard. There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.

*Cancellation Policy*

Full Refund: Cancel at least 30 days before check-in for a full refund.
50% Refund: Cancel 7 to 30 days before check-in to receive a 50% refund for all nights.
No Refund: Cancel less than 7 days before check-in and the full amount will be charged. Cleaning fee will be refunded.
Special Exception: If you cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in, you will receive a full refund.
**All cancellations will not receive processing fees back (approximately 4%)**
