I recently stayed at this resort and was thoroughly disappointed by the overall experience. While the location had potential, the service and amenities fell far short of expectations.
Service and Staff:
The service was inconsistent. While the bellboys were great and consistently helpful, many of the women staff responded with passive-aggressive tones, making interactions uncomfortable. The concierge was unhelpful when issues arose, only addressing concerns after escalating frustrations. At GP restaurant, the hostess lied about the wait time, seating a party of 10 ahead of us despite our 40-minute wait. The front desk staff was hit-or-miss—while one gentleman was helpful, a younger woman mishandled our checkout and then gaslit me, claiming she had provided a ticket that she never gave.
Dining Experience:
The food was underwhelming, lacking flavor and arriving cold when ordered through room service. The delays in service only added to the dissatisfaction.
Amenities and Atmosphere:
The resort’s amenities were not as advertised. The beach beds had torn towels, and the overall availability of amenities was disappointing. To make matters worse, the music played throughout the resort seemed catered exclusively to older guests, disregarding the preferences of a younger demographic.
While there were a few bright spots—these were overshadowed by the unprofessionalism and poor service throughout the resort. Hopefully management intervenes to improve future guest experiences.
