Yoga on the beach every morning 7-8 was wonderful and the bikes in the lobby were free to use. Ver nice property, I really enjoyed my stay.

I wasn’t aware that our room was above the restaurant on the property so we heard the music from downstairs up until the restaurant closed. We also had a couple next door who were fighting loudly on one night, which made it hard to sleep. The room was clean though and we enjoyed the complimentary bikes which we took out on the Kapaa trail. I also liked the location next to the beach.

The staff was so friendly. One of them even gave us her personal beach chairs to take out for the day. They have bikes available for free for day use as first come first serve. Property is beautiful and area around it has LOTS to eat/shop/ we had a car and it was perfect central location to see the whole island! Will definitely stay there again.

Clean room, it has basic amenities, big bed although it was a bit stiff for me but it was good enough for 2 nights nice view of the pool/ocean and sunrise. Restaurant has great food. I love the free artichoke dip it was the best Mai Tai was really good not too strong alcohol. My main course was their special Spinach meatless wrap and it was excellent.

We stayed at The ISO before & had a great experience then, so we booked it for our recent vacation. We stayed 8 nights & had the best room in the hotel, which was oceanfront. Because we spend so much time away from our room, we don’t book overly expensive hotels. We prefer to spend our vacation funds on dining, excursions, visiting parks, etc. The ISO fits our budget & offers what we need. The best part of this hotel is the location & the fact that you are steps from the beach. Each morning we got to see the beautiful sunrise & we looked for shells on the beach. We also saw turtles from our balcony! This is the most affordable oceanfront hotel on Kauai. If you need extra amenities, lots of staff, housekeeping daily, room service, etc, then you may prefer to stay elsewhere. The only issue I have with this hotel is the $30 daily resort fee. If it was $15, I think that would be a more realistic fee. Overall, we were happy with the room, the staff, the grounds, the breakfast options, fridge in the room, coffee pot in the room, bed, location, etc. We will stay here again on our next visit to Kauai!

If you’re looking for a Hilton or some upscale hotel this isn’t it, but it’s still very nice. We had a large room with a balcony that opened up to an ocean front view (I believe all rooms have this). When you pull up it has more of a motel feel but the room was actually very nice, spacious and had a cozy island feel. It was easy to control the temp in the room and they were able to accommodate a pack and play for my baby which I really appreciated. Free breakfast is offered daily and you can walk across the street to Safeway, the drugstore, starbucks and other shops. It’s also walking distance from some local spots which was hugely convenient for us and we loved having the boardwalk from the beach to the Sheraton Hotel right next to us because we were attending a wedding there just a walk away. We would definitely stay here again.

Property is dated. AC was not working properly during my stay. Room was ok. Clean. But very basic. Small refrigerator. No wine glasses or any basic utensils. Breakfast was a joke, consists of fruit cups if any and apples No hot foods. No fresh baked goods. They could do better than this but they’ll probably raise their prices significantly if they do.

Our room was directly above the restaurant which played music every evening from 7 to 9 pm. We could sing along if we wanted to. We were not informed that our room offered this special benefit. The pillows were very firm or very lumpy. The television never worked. The air conditioner remained on continuously at a frigid temperature that the controls could not adjust. The location was great. Breakfast was adequate. Several staff members were helpful. However, we paid for paradise and received numerous torments to overcome.

A lot of bang for your buck. The property was so reasonably priced. The view is so beautiful. The hotel is older but clean and has a cute vibe. The only complaint is the beds are a little hard.

On an island so quaint and beautiful that has mega resorts, this small resort checks off so many boxes on my list: Clean - check. Oceanfront - check. Restuarant on site - check. Nice, clean pool - check. Comfy bed - check. Patio with chairs - check. Free parking - check. aT those other mega resorts, you may get a bunch of amenities and foo-foo stuff, but chances are unless you are going to break the bank, your room will be very far from the ocean, and far from all these amenities. This quiant hotel allows EVERY ROOM a view of the ocean, doesn't break the bank, and is centrally located. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!
