We love this beautiful classic hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful! This time in Japanese breakfast place, staff even wearing gloves! Hold hotel clean and comfortable. Thank you so much Orbitz!

This is a very classic hotel, around by beautiful green and near Karuizawa Ginza. Huge room clean and with pretty view of red leaves 🍁. Full service in west style breakfast, food is great and service is perfect! My favorite hotel will come back! Thank you Orbitz!

Perfect in every way!
Mampei Hotel was wonderful. Much better than I expected considering the price and age of the hotel. The location is good. Walk-able in 10 minutes from the old Ginza shopping street (the walk itself was a nice and pleasant stroll). The hotel was easy to find and surrounded by beautiful lush greenery and gardens. The staff were warm and friendly. The guy at reception spoke English. The hotel looks great, very classic but well maintained. Clean, warm and comfortable. Our twin room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable and a lovely view from the window facing the gardens. Wifi was faultless. Restaurants and cafe served great food if a little expensive. Didn't want to leave. Will definitely return. Recommended if you want a relaxing quiet stay away from the crowds!

高級ならそれなりの対応を
チェックインの際のいきなりのトランク開けにびっくり。宿泊客少ないのに連室。隣の部屋の音に閉口。トイレ、風呂水量の弱さに閉口。最後のチェックアウト　Go To　Travelの説明担当者の高飛車にびっくり。二度と泊ることはないでしょう。

また行きたい
歴史あるホテルだからか、全体的に落ち着いていてサービスも大袈裟ではなくとても心地良かったです。 ただ建物が古いせいか、部屋の上の階の方の足音がとてもうるさく、寝ていても目が覚めてしまうほどでした。 そこが残念でした。
