A lovely little b&b. Perfect for our walking holiday. The hosts were super attentive and always so helpful. Umbrellas were available to borrow which was very handy. The breakfast was delicious! The bed was also really comfy and the road wasn’t loud at all. We slept really well
Overall I would highly recommend
Landlady was really nice, helpful and had good knowledge of the area. Breakfast was great. Parking is on street which was busy. Great views of the fells from our bedroom. Would love to visit again
What can I say about my stay - the review box would not be big enough !! Wonderful little place to stay, clean, comfortable, amazing breakfast, everything I could possibly have needed
But more importantly, Alison and Chris are superb hosts. It was just like staying somewhere that I’d been before
They were just so friendly and helpful and accommodating
Lovely to chat to and very knowledgeable about the area and where I could go visit
I will definitely be visiting them again
Highly recommend
Went here with a friend as a base for a short motorcycle‘tour’.
It was perfect, couldn’t ask for more, warm, close to town, great breakfast, perfect hosts that go beyond ( they have sent some bits home i left in the room without asking!!!)
Really welcoming and friendly hosts. Spotlessly clean and a lovely breakfast. So convenient for town centre too

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Room comfort
Poor communication
I changed my booking with Hotels.com but the B&B had no record of this and were unhappy with me staying for the one night even with me showing them email from Hotels.com They wanted paying for two nights. Parking is very hard in this area, Room was very small and expensive @ £65 a night.
