Custom home with beautiful architectural design. Located beyond the Vanderhorst Gate (The Second Gate), on Kiawah Island. Private corner lot, offering two driveways with parking for total of four cars. The Living Room offers plenty of seating with large T.V. The fire place is off limits and unavailable to guests. Open to Living Room is Formal Dining Room seating eight comfortably. The kitchen has plenty of storage and can accommodate all of your cooking needs with a small kitchen table seating four. The Master Suite is tucked away on the North side of home set in a quiet space with private balcony. The master suite offers a large smart T.V and does not have local cable channels. Please be prepared to use your own Roku remote or sign into your favorite account such as Netflix, Hulu, etc. Off the main entrance are three bedrooms; two of the three bedrooms feature balconies and share a hall bath with tub/shower combo. The additional bedroom featuring a queen bed has an ensuite bathroom with tub/shower combo and walk-in closet. Upstairs is a large room with pool table, balcony, and wet bar. The large room has a t.v with DVD for children to watch their favorite movies. T.V is not a smart T.V and does not have cable options. Off the pool table room is a bedroom with one twin bed and one day bed. Attached garage is unavailable to guests but this property offers parking for four cars using both driveways. This property has no pool access and the beach is 1 1/2 miles away. Drive time to the beach is 4 to 5 minutes. Car parking is available for beach access and it's an easy 9 minute bike ride to the beach with bike paths available.

Please Note:
This home does NOT offer resort amenities, such as Pool access and discounts on Golf or Tennis.

All trash cans and bikes need to be tucked away from visual sight from the road. This is a ticket offense and the Town of Kiawah does police this.

While the living room does have a fire place, the home does not offer fire place use to guests.

Only the living room has a smart T.V with Comcast cable options. Master bedroom T.V offers a smart T.V (no cable option) and pool table room has just the DVD player set up.
During your stay at this holiday home, you'll be close to Osprey Point Golf Course. 1 hot tub and an arcade/games room are available. A kitchen and 3 bathrooms are available in the holiday home.

Perfect house-well cared for.
This house was exactly what we needed. A master suite at one end allowed the new parents and Infant to have privacy while the living area and bedrooms across the house allowed family time. Spacious and very well cared for.

We were impressed by the size of the property. Beautiful home on a corner lot. Patricia was very easy to work with. Very communicative. I highly recommend this property. We attend a conference at Kiawah annually and will definitely stay here again.

This house was very cozy and hospitable. There are areas in house that are outdated, but that didn't effect our stay at all. This house has plenty of space and is a short bike ride to the beach. My family would definitely stay here again.

6 Family Members Meeting for a wedding
This location provided comfortable quarters for all of us. Well-designed, centrally located, friendly. No problems experienced. They had a great kitchen for cooking meals, a game room where the young adults could hang out and a screened-in porch for the old folks to enjoy the evenings. Definitely would like to come back.

The property was as described on VRBO. The property manager was helpful in giving us recommendations for bike rentals. The only fault I would give is one of the sinks in the master bedroom does not have a stopper. That seems easy enough to fix. And the lighting in the master bath area is insufficient for putting on makeup or needing to look closely at your face for whatever reason. I would suggest a lighted makeup mirror, at least, be made available.

I have no doubt you will enjoy the spaciousness of this rental home and the responsiveness of Patricia as the host. Her communication was timely and detailed which eased our planning. The home is quite large, great comfortable bedding, and a functional kitchen and grill for all your cooking needs. Great week at Kiawah Island
House worked really well for our family. Three BRs on the first floor were easy to access. Master BR was in a separate wing above the garage and very quiet. Comfortable mattresses. The game room above the 3 BRs was also great with the pool table and 2 futons (but new pool cue sticks are needed). Large dining room table made for big family dinners.

A amazing house and host
This was an an amazing house. It had so much room and space. The different parts of the house gave you different types of experiences. we really loved the screen in sun room. it was so relaxing and peaceful. The master bedroom and bath room was a great experience. me and my spouse enjoyed the bathtub. the house is just to good to be true but it was. Kiawah island was nice with plenty to do also. Patricia was an amazing host. she responded quickly, was very helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and great. i would definitely be staying here again and i recommend it for anyone that wants a relaxing fun stay in Charleston, SC.
