Have you ever dreamed of staying in a quintessential log chalet nestled in the mountains but still having all the creature comforts of home at your finger tips? If so, our property is exactly what you are looking for! Our cabin is located 10 minutes south of Kimberley or 20 minutes north of the Cranbrook International Airport. Nestled between the Rocky and Purcell Mountain ranges in the St. Mary’s River Valley, this home is the ultimate 4-season Mountain getaway.
The Area:
Golf – The area is considered a “Golfer’s Paradise” with 3 Championship 18-hole golf courses at your doorstep and 7 more golf courses within a 30 minute drive from the property.
Ski - For those snow chasers, the Kimberley Alpine Resort boasts 80+ Runs and over 1,800 acres of terrain. Powder days hold a special place in your memory banks!
Play – Mountain Bike, Hike, Snowmobile, Fish…. The opportunities are endless. The property backs onto one of the largest municipal parks in Canada.
Kimberley Town Center – Offers a unique, pedestrian-only Platzl with an array of boutique shops and restaurants and acts as a central location for festivals and community gatherings.
The Property:
This property is ideal for Couples, family gatherings or group getaways. Sitting on 3 levels, the main floor offers a kitchen/dining area, living room with beautiful stone wood burning fireplace and vaulted ceilings, 1 bedroom (queen bed) and a bathroom. The top floor Loft offers a beautiful master retreat with a King Size bed and views from all angles. Head down to the bottom floor and you will find a media area, bathroom, in-house laundry as well as a bedroom with bunks (Twin + Double + Double trundle pull out), or as we call it "The Kids Zone".
This property comes with a fully equipped kitchen, All linens, complimentary Wi-Fi, Netflix, Outdoor BBQ, Washer/Dryer and Geothermal Heating/Cooling.
Spend your morning sitting on the beautiful front deck watching the sunrise and listening to the rush of the river down below or the birds singing in the trees. Spend your evening soaking those sore muscles in the hot tub after a long day of skiing or hiking. Head out for a walk in the neighborhood and make friends with some of the local deer who will surely pay you a visit during your stay. The opportunities for adventure (or relaxation if that’s what you’re after) are truly endless.
