Step inside and be greeted by a warm and inviting living space, complete with a fireplace and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals, and the dining area is perfect for enjoying them together.

But the real magic lies in the fenced backyard. Surrounded by lush greenery, it's a private oasis where you can unwind and reconnect with nature. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on the patio, listening to the birdsong, or gathering around the fire pit for an evening of storytelling and stargazing.

When you're ready to explore, you'll find yourself just moments away from the pristine shores of Lake Tahoe. Spend your days swimming, kayaking, or simply soaking up the sun on the sandy beach. In the winter, hit the slopes at one of the nearby ski resorts.
The easy rules and instructions are on in the white binder and the house. Due to health and safety issues, we do not allow houses to go over the indicated maximum occupancy of 4 without prior authorization. No smoking. Must state legally...Any violation of this will lead to loss of deposit and loss of rental monies as we will have to ask you to leave immediately. Placer County has strict rules regarding over-occupancy of short-term rental homes as well as large fines. There is a $1000 fine per over-occupant if this occurs and any costs associated with over occupancy. We do not split up Friday and Saturday nights when staying less than a week. We ask you to follow all the easy rules in a white binder. A motion camera on driveway/sideyard for safety as we live in bear country. Do not leave food in cars. We do not allow more than 2 cars without prior authorization. Please help the environment and traffic so everyone can enjoy this beautiful area for years to come. Please use the large metal bear-proof garbage box at the end of driveway (instructions in white binder) If you have create excess garbage that does not fit, you must take home or occur $200 fee. We are happy to give late check-outs and early check-ins when possible. Just ask! During peak times that is usually impossible, but again we love to accommodate when possible!!! Our house cleaning company charges $150 per hour for late checkouts that are not pre-approved. As you start planning your trip, we ask that you purchase trip insurance. Traveling to the Sierra mountains at any time of year has inherent risks and uncertainty, such as Covid, snow, air quality, fires, road conditions or personal health, or some other reason. As such, we expect our guests to mitigate these risks by purchasing trip insurance (in particular, "cancel for any reason" insurance). Any reservation over 30 days must sign a California Residental Lease agreement, application and credit report (score must be over 720)
