Our stay was just for the night so we could be close to an early event in the morning. Everything was great except that there were kids running around until 1am blasting music and yelling (no idea where the adults were aside from the ones talking right outside our patio doors until about 10:30pm). The staff did talk to them which helped but the walls are thin and they were still ridiculously loud for that hour.

I recently stayed at Comfort Inn Guelph and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, I immediately noticed that the carpet throughout the property was filthy, which gave a poor first impression. The room itself had a distinct moldy smell, which was unsettling and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the bathroom's toilet didn't flush properly, a significant inconvenience. For those who suffer from allergies or asthma, I would strongly advise against staying here. The air quality in the room was unbearable, leading to a chronic cough and asthma attacks. I attempted to change rooms, hoping for a better situation, but the conditions in the new room were identical. The heater was extremely noisy, making it impossible to get any restful sleep. When I brought my concerns to the staff, I was told the issues were due to the hotel being old, which, unfortunately, did not provide any reassurance or solutions. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel, especially for individuals with respiratory concerns. The lack of cleanliness, poor air quality, and outdated facilities make it unsuitable for a comfortable stay.

Nice hotel, good location
The hotel is clean and well located for a stay in Guelph if you have a car. The breakfast was surprisingly good with hot items. The breakfast room is a bit small so sometimes crowded. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking was free and lots of availability.

Area around hotel slightly sketchy making it feel unsafe especially for 2 women staying in a room on the ground floor. The sliding door opened into a rear parking lot and had a flimsy flip lock. Had to keep curtains closed so room was dark. Some sheets would have helped. Clean room👍
